It's not easy shipping beer out of the Tetons in the dead of winter, which is the main reason for the delay on Citradamus. That being said, we truly feel our DIPAs hit their stride around the 30-40 day mark, so don't be skerred! Also, there is a 1/30 batch that is on shelves now as well, so keep your eyes out for that, and if two weeks is too old for you not sure what to tell you...

was wondering if it was a label approving delay or something. Thanks for clearing that up. I'll still buy a pack. Also, will these be quarterly rotations?

Don't worry about it. It's worth every penny. I went back today to pick up 2 more 4 packs. It tastes very fresh and dank.

Citradamus is killer and it also has a really cool orange hue to it! Looks as good as it tastes!

I don't mean to pick a fight, but we're now bitching about (new to Colorado) beer that is literally 27 days old?

Or was this sarcasm and I missed it?

That Citradamus is pretty juicy. Nice beer.

That gives you a couple weeks before the beer hits its stride.

More for me... For real though, you're that bummed? I can't think of any beers I've had after a month that are noticeably worse than a week or 2 old. Maybe your palate is more refined. More likely you're perpetuating the kind of pompdouchery we see regarding freshness of IPAs out east and in so many non-Colorado markets. Congrats #jerryoftheday

So good- lots of fruity goodness, extremely well-balanced for a beer of this strength. Pissed I only grabbed a 4 pack

    Fun Story:
After dinner, I finished the last half of my Citradamus. About a half hour later, I hadn't consumed anything else and his goodness was still lingering, offering a delightful and evolving aftertaste like no other beer I've experienced.

You're real nice you know. You take a vague statement and twist it around and assume the absolute worst. Good for you for doing that.

I was upset at the month old cans in that it took a month for it to get here when they are our next door neighbors. I know why it did now and it makes sense. I'll still be picking up a pack this weekend.

    Have a nice day.

I wasn't trying to be an ass. You don't know me. If you wanted to, I would be glad to meet in person and discuss the merits of advocating for beer over a pint. I'm sorry you thought I twisted your words, but when you say something like "not cool <angry face>," in the context of the above conversation, it definitely comes across as negative and I'm pretty sure a lot of others on the board also perceived it that way. I'm glad you're picking up a pack this weekend regardless and hope you really enjoy it!
