Even then, the PN4 turnout was quite a bit more than OdB or Jammy

I'm heading to St. Louis on business this week. If anyone is around on Wednesday and wants to go to SP and split some bottles with me, hit me up. Flight lands @ 1:40 and I'll probably head right there so I'll be there around open and will be there for a while.

Also, I'm going from the airport, to SP, then down to my hotel in Arnold. Any decent places to grab some bottles along the way?

CBC Clayton and Wine and Cheese Place would be on your way to Side Project from the airport. Perennial would be on the way from SP to your hotel.

I would go to narrow gauge when you land, then to side project

Picked a hell of a day to be in town. Got to try D2, D3, Jammy, Langst, and Foudre Fermier plus some take home Grisette.

Yeah, but how big was the line and did it all sell out?

Big, and it's to go at the cellar at 2pp as far as I know.

It's also a really weird tasting beer, but considering what it's made of that shouldn't be a big surprise.

Still a ton of cases at SP. No limits to my knowledge.

Had breakfast around the corner and took this picture before leaving. This was the line at 12 PM.

Came back 4 hours later, no line, picked up a few bottles in about a minute.

Picture doesn't show the masses in the parking lot. If it helps, I don't think they sold out.

All for PN6, yes. There was plenty left after the line was done and it appears that there is a good amount left that remain after the weekend. When I was there 4 hours after the release, there was an entire pallet stacked up at the brewery behind the counter (no idea what else was sitting behind the scenes).

Would be great for the beer community at large for the increase in supply of these 'limited' releases to allow for bottles to be available for a while after release to reach the widest audience both through people passing through STL and for the locals.

Me and some friends are driving up to St. Louis from Texas in March. Will be at SP on March 18th. We know we want to hit SP, Perennial, and 2nd Shift but what craft beer focused restaurants/bars with food are our best options? We're staying downtown.

Can anyone confirm whether or not BA Abraxas is supposed to be released in 2017? I can't find any information on this. Thanks!

They don't have a set release date like BCBS or KBS. Last release was about 11-12 months ago and there was no 2015 release. I'd expect later in the year but no way to say for sure.

    As far as downtown goes:
Sliced Pint is right next to city museum and has a good tap list and decent pizza.
Flying Saucer is good if you're looking for just a bar.
Start Bar is an awesome arcade bar with excellent pizza and tons of craft cans.
Bailey's Range often has a great tap list and a good spot for burgers.
Hair of the Dog always has a ton of good sour stuff on tap as well

You can walk or Uber over to 4 Hands or the Soulard area which has Bogarts BBQ, Mission Taco, International Tap House, and a bunch of other bars.

and DEFINITELY hit up Cuginos in Florissant for some deep fried cheese stuffed meatballs and Narrow Gauge beers, they're making the best IPAs in the area right now.

I personally recommend Civil Life over Perennial as well. Coolest (albeit a little hipster-y) little brewpub that specializes in doing beers perfectly to style, and man do they nail it. Lots of low abv/high flavor stuff so you can knock back multiple half or full pints while playing darts, giant jenga, other board games, or just read a book. They're cash only though but have an ATM on site.
