    Do they date their cans or packs? I had some void of light last year and it was dated on the bottom, I can't seam to find it on what's currently on the shelves.

    Can anyone who has been give me a sense of the tasting room? Thinking / planning of stopping by after a Bronx Zoo visit with the family and want to know whether this is a leave everyone in the car and run in for some to bring home to go or bring them in and let them hang while I enjoy (and bring some home). Thanks!

    I think this ultimately depends on what you are looking for. It's super close to the Bronx zoo, the tap room is very spacious with tables set up for groups. But difficult to gage the question

    Happy to report back that we found Gun Hill family friendly. Only thing I would say is almost all seating is high top so factor that in if you have very little ones. My 4 year old was fine but she wouldn't have been a year ago.

    Oh, and the beers were good.

    I think you all know me well enough that I'm a pretty positive poster and that I always try to say something nice...I had a Roll Call no 5 earlier tonight and it was plain old fashioned awful. Nothing seemed off about it, carbonation was right, it just...sucked. Sorry, but I'm being honest. A few Roll Calls I've had were fantastic, so I was pretty surprised.

    Ok, must have been a bad can. Much better this time. Better everything...color, taste, smell. Don't know why my first can was that bad.

    going to caveat this with how much of a fan i am of theirs and how much they were my gateway to local craft beer BUT this release was horrible. the BA VOL bottles are sort of drinkable now but were straight sharpie marker juice at release and that peach was just bad bad bad.
