Parker is $7 for a growler fill today. Nice easy drinking wit.

@kdawgmoney and I are at Noon Whistle now. We each got Gummy Vortex, Pineapple Gummy Vortex, Firking Gummy Vortex with Blueberries and then I got We Be LogJamming and kdawgmoney got Passion Fruit Face Smack Berliner.

Place is really chill and laid back. Totally worth the trip. Beers are all quality. And the Pineapple Gummy Vortex... Definitely my favorite. Tastes like someone put in actual pineapples into the beer and not some pineapple extract nonsense that tastes artificial.

No food from the place itself but they have a schedule on menu of what food trucks show up when. Today from 5-9PM is Roaming Hog food truck.

The Pineapple Gummy Vortex was incredible, and both Saison options on right now are great (I'm a sucker for a great, quality Saison) - definitely worth the trip if you guys are debating on going

The pineapple was out of this world! Picked up two crowlers of the regular. Just an all around great experience. I'll be back for sure, especially when they fill crowlers of the pineapple.

Echoing others' sentiments, the pineapple vortex is amazing. I tried to coax them into a crowler fill, but no luck. I thought the blueberry vortex was just ok. The fruit really muted the hop profile (to the extent that there is one with a ne'ern ipa). But I'm glad I tried it. It didn't help that I had it immediately after the pineapple though.

I didn't get a ton of pineapple in the gummy pineapple- some at the end. That said, gummy Cortex is such a good beer - it's tough to tell if I liked the pineapple better or not. It was a little sweeter but not all that different. I had my regular gummy crowler at home tonight to check and that's how I feel. Only a slight difference- both great

@HopHead2815 I just ran into cans of some of you guys' stuff in Chicago (had no idea you distributed). Can we expect some of these thread-worthy IPAs to make it into cans for distro?

Missed the turn today as well. Surprised to see they canned some crowlers of Pineapple GV. No more pours of it left. Few more crowlers of it to go.

has anyone tried their Bourbon Ba Facesmack? I just picked up a bottle today along with their other barrel aged bottles. Not bad if you buy all three they are $30 as saving of $10 bucks.

I grabbed the Bob Ross barleywine when I was there last time - might grab another next time as it was quite good.

I thought Gummy Vortex was too bitter. Just one dissenting opinion for what it's worth.

I did have the BA Facesmack and really enjoyed it. Not too much barrel, which was perfect for that style. I think it was only like 5.6% ABV so made it easy drinking.

Personally, it's why I liked it so much. It's a bit harsh on the back end in an unpleasant way, but I think that can be dialed in.

So many NE IPA's have zero hop bite to them, that I'm turned off immediately.

Ha, we're the exact opposite. I've never liked bitterness OR caramel notes in IPAs, which is why I love the New England style: it focuses on the citrus notes I loved while taking out the other stuff.

You could just argue that I don't really like IPA's, and you'd probably have a good point. But man, I love a nice fruity NE-style....
