    OK guys, welcome aboard! In case you missed it from upthread, here's the basics:

    "It basically works like this: You will be given a "Target", this is the person you will send a box to. There will be a Hints and Hauls thread,where you leave hints for your target to try to figure out who you are. Most hints are fairly vague early, then get more specific. Once we have a firm "Share date" you have to make sure your target gets their box a couple days before, because the reason for this BIF is to support the weekly NBS thread.

    While this is going on, you'll be reading hints trying to figure out who your sender is. When you get your box, post a pic on the H&H thread, then do a review of some of the beers on NBS. You'll like get a few new brews, so if you post the week before, that's cool, and we generally have posts popping up for weeks after.

    The requirements are a minimum of 66-72oz (roughly 3-22oz bottles, 6-12oz bottles/cans, or some combination) and a piece of swag (Glassware and T-shirts are the most common). Most folks tend to send more than the minimum (so expect to include a couple "extra" bottles) and some guys go nuts. Walez are not a requirement, but some folks send 'em. The point is to send beer your target hasn't had before, thus qualifying as a "new" beer for NBS. So, local shelf beers are perfect. Feel free to look at your targets "Wants and Gots" lists on their profile page, and scroll through their reviews for ideas on what they've had, and what they like."

    Basically, just be somewhat active on the H&H thread, and be willing to post reviews on the "official" NBS share day(s) at the end of March. Have fun!

    I'm definitely interested! I've never understood the Hints and Hauls thread, but now that it's been explained - it makes more sense.

    Perfect. I have some solid local stuff to send. When can we expect to get our target? I can't wait!

    I'm gonna close the sign-up after NBS this coming Sunday. I'll do the pairings the day after, then send the list off to Lehigh, who double checks for proximity and redundancy. If all goes well, targets should be sent by the end of that week.

    You a big EWU guy? EWU is a huge pipeline to the football league we have here, so it's one of the programs I follow most in the NCAA.

    Bo Levi Mitchell is the best QB in our league and we've got Matt Nichols starting here in Winnipeg too.

    Saw 'em both play. BLM had the greatest arm of any EWU QB I've seen, but he was extremely hot and cold. He won us the national championship, but he was also the reason we were 19 points down at halftime in that game . Glad to see the success he's had "up north."
