According to this post from several months ago (http://beeradvocate.com/community/t...ival-limited-availability-for-purchase.24099/), it was supposed to be released around the nation in September, but some of the boxes were released in Massachusetts at The Festival.

"Westvleteren 12° - painstakingly brewed by the Sint-Sixtus Abbey in Westvleteren, Belgium - was initially scheduled to debut across the U.S.A. this month. For reasons known only to higher powers, the Abbey has requested that the official public release be delayed until September. However, the Abbey has now given its blessing for a small quantity of the beer to be previewed at The Festival, which takes place on June 23rd and 24th at Mechanics Hall in Worcester, Massachusetts. The Abbey hopes in this modest way to slake the thirst and reward the patience of true beer aficionados as they continue to wait for the Big Release later in the year."

That said, it's distributed through Shelton Brothers, and last I heard they were having some serious issues with their Florida distro, that to my knowledge remain unresolved. So, as codysjb said, I wouldn't hold my breath.

Yeah, Shelton has pulled out of parts (if not all) of Florida. Rumors are that they are going to start self distributing. So I would not expect to see this down here.

I've spoken with Total Wine about it twice. They've never heard of the beer and don't know anything about the shipment. I guess it's a bit much to expect their frontline people in the stores to know about something like this. Some ordering guy up the chain might know.
