Vulgar Display of Flower looks and sounds so good

 

It's really tasty. I stopped by the brewery Saturday, can't wait for them to officially open.

 

People are going to lose their shit when they start canning.

 

Sounds like end of March, early April based on their posts

 

They said they'd be open for growler fills in three or four weeks, canning a few weeks later.

Brewery looks great, really nice people as well.

 

I am heading up that way this weekend. Is the taproom open or was this an exclusive visit?

 

They had a bottle release/small tasting. I was lucky enough to be passing through there anyway so I dropped in.

If they aren't open you can always hit rushing duck!

 

Had Vulgar Display of Flower last night. Exceptional beer.

As soon as those cans start rolling off the line this is seriously gonna be one of the most hyped breweries in the country.

 

Going to echo a lot of folks sentiments here. Had Vulgar Display of Flower today and was literally BLOWN AWAY. I've had only one other beer from Equilibrium previously (Photon) which I thought was very well done, but Vulgar was in a different league, in my opinion.

I honestly don't feel silly for saying this, but NYS has it's first Treehouse/Trillium on its hands with these guys.

Vulgar was equal to any juice bomb from New England I've had in the last 3 years. When they officially open, it's going to be a total shit show. See you guys on line.

 

All the time, or just during can releases?

 

Tried MC2 for the first time this weekend at Proletariat and while it was really great, I preferred Fractal Mosaic. I thought the beer was insanely juicy but could have used some mild grapefruit-y bitterness or more carb to restrain it a bit. Was genuinely like drinking fruit juice.

 

Did not think this batch of MC^2 that hit the city was as good as the last batch. Not as much flavor, not as soft, etc. Gonna try and seek out Vulgar Display of Flower

 

Just cracked open a growler of Fractal Citra. First time trying anything from Equilibrium and I'm beyond impressed. This is straight tropical fruit juice. Can't think of anything I would change about it.

Fluctuation, Fractal Citra, Vulgar, and Casey were my favorites from the past week. This batch of MC2 was a bit disappointing, especially compared to Fluctuation.

all of their stuff is outrageously good

 

I grabbed a growler from Bellport last night and while pretty good, it doesn't come close to the trillium i have in the fridge right now. It is very very soft and i think it could use a little more bitterness to it. That said I was still very impressed, I would absolutely seek out all their other beers. I was told Fluctuation is king, hoping to find that nearby soon too.

 

Man, I missed their tap takeover at the Burger Loft. Their taproom can't open soon enough!
