Thanks for the quick response. My cousin was going to pass through Athens on Wednesday, trying to convince him to move it to Thursday now.

 

A lot of it is the less snarky, helpful people like myself stay away from here compared to the past. BA turned into unappreciative douchebags, snarky assholes, entitled elitists, and even worse, combos of the 3. The ones that are all 3 are my mortal enemies.

We should be well into the timeline from his last update. Can't wait for it to drop, and my wife will be making her first pilgrimage too. It'll be a nice change of pace to see all the boyfriends mulling for their significant others

 

The day it does, I'll use a paid day to go down. I will NOT miss it, no matter what.

Wow this is awesome, past couple of Paste blind tasting have given lots of much deserved love to the styles Ohio breweries have really excelled at for a while.

So excited! I haven't had the chance to try dynamo fuzz. Mahogany lush I just tried at the anniversary party and that was outstanding. Bring it all on.

 

I've never been to an old-school release. Are calendar pages still available Saturday morning? I live close enough that I don't wanna get a hotel, but far enough that a drive two days in a row would be a bit much (first world problems, I know...).

I've been rolling down the morning of for the past couple years without problem. Brad does a good job of adjusting allotments. I think I've only got shut out on 1 bottle. It will affect what's available to you during the second sale though.

 

I'm extremely impressed with Pockets of Sunlight. It's really refreshing and strikes the perfect balance between traditional saison notes and tartness for me. I know lots of people are hyped about the sour program for bigger batches of some of the brewpub classics, but it's equally exciting if the new beers coming out of it are this well done.

 

I'm 100% there with you! Got to Jackie O's last week and had this on tap! So damn good! The name fits the beer perfectly. Also love how it had a fuller mouthfeel and was so drinkable. Can't wait to crack a few in the warmer months!

But does anyone know where I have the best chance at some bottled JO stuff in Cincinnati?

 

When will you be in Cincinnati? I live there and have bottled stuff...... Also Cappys in Loveland usually has a solid selection of Jackie O's what are you looking for?

I'm a huge JO fan from when I lived in Pittsburgh...now in Charlotte, I've gone through withdrawal. My job sends me to Louisville once a month or so and I'm thinking about making the drive up one night just so grab an assortment of JO stuff.

No preference really...BA stuff would be cool. But really just trying to fill the void with whatever I can find.

 

Is there a better OH shelf BA RIS than JOs Dark App?

 

Hell no! Crazy that it's become a shelf beer too. It used to fly out of my store in 15 minutes when we'd get a case.
