Different. It was about the societies in general and how happy you currently are.

It's part of our quarterly survey program. We send it to a quarter of our Reserve and Hoarders Society members each go-around (so you'll only receive it once).

I think I'm done with beer clubs. Got down to just this one for 2017. I spend thousands of dollars every year and they can't allow me a little more time to pick up my Nov & Dec allocations? "But the terms and conditions say. . . " You know what my terms and conditions say? Customer service matters.

SNPA and Lindeman's Cuvee Rene are far better price/value purchases anyways. No lines, no pickup windows, great quality and availability.

^^Hahahahahahahahaha, you know what they say, you agreed to it, but still complain about them allowing you to store your beers for another 3 full months of the new year.

Yes I did. I didn't agree to get infected beers every year either, but I was cool with that. Give and take.

The Bruery and Rare Barrel are both until March 31 of the following year. Modern Times is three months from the start of pickups. These seem to be pretty much the standard terms of any beer club in California. Are you not local to California and that's the issue? Seems like plenty enough time to me. Have you tried contacting the Bruery without widely publicizing it to see if they can work with you on a case by case basis?

Yeah I have. No flexibility. I think every year since 2010 they've been cool w/ me picking up a little later since I'm still a member. Shit changed this year I guess. Not upset if they want to enforce that rule now. Like I said, plenty of substitute goods out there, I'll spend that money elsewhere. It'll be easy to save up for that roof my house needs in a few years I guess.

But yeah, its 1000 mile round trip for me and I should be down there anyways in April

And, yet, unlike some other clubs out there, the Bruery lets you designate a proxy to pick up your stuff. Why not just try to find one of those so you can still come by in April? I mean, you seem to just want to complain whereas the Bruery has laid out a nice set of accommodations for you.

Plus, brewing sour beer and clean beer is a gamble anyways. It's fairly common for breweries to have infected batches if they brew both, definitely not a Bruery exclusive issue.

Just cracked my first chronology 6 porter, dang that is good. I can't wait for the 12, 18 and 24 months. The Bruery needs to utilize this base beer more, moving forward.

I recommend shipping to your work. This is also helpful when you're at work and could go for a beer

When I lived in CA I don't know if they could have delivered to my work... And if they did I don't know how well that would have been received by our security personnel and my leadership.

Speaking of trustees I managed to burn one out in three deliveries over a few short months and I'm currently up a creek.

True, but they separated the clean beer from the sour beer on top of the pasteurizing and using the ozone machine on the adjuncts. So I think the question is how is beer still getting infected with souring bacteria?

I guess everyone has a different work environment. At my work it's not an issue. People don't need to know what I'm having shipped. Even if they did it wouldn't be a big deal. I supppse if you worked at a Mormon church it could be awkward

Most of the infections come from BA beers, and barrels, regardless of how well they're steamed could still hold some bugs. Plus, it could be as simple as coming from the air in general. Wild yeasts and bacteria are all over the place, thus coolships.

I bought two shippers on Monday and received two notifications last night. I was beginning to wonder if I'd be notified or not, but it seems like they're finally rolling out the feature like Joel said!
