    It doesn't.

Also nobody said THIS IS A WINNER!

Someone said "might be a winner".

Its hard to keep track of facts when you're focusing all your energy on hating.

In other news, Liutenant Dank didn't really do much for me, how about y'all?

We can start a different thread, but interested to hear about your QC issues. I've had most of their canned offerings and have yet to have an issue.

Agreed - it's a solid West Coast-style IPA, but I'd have trouble picking it out of a lineup with similarly styled brews. I bet it's just as good in three months as it is today though, and I can appreciate that. It'll be interesting to see how WW expands distro this year with this lineup of cans.

In other Asheville news, Burial's hoppy stuff continues to impress with this batch of Mosaic Ceremonial. That being said, I think the last batch with Vic Secret might wear the crown.

I really loved it at a WW tap takeover a few months ago. The again, I had it after a couple of barrel aged beers, so the contrast may have amplified it a bit.

I like Lt. Dank. Piney, clean, and easy drinking. It is a good IPA, but not in the same league as Pernicious or Freak. It doesn't really stick out in a crowded field of IPAs, but it isn't bad.

Anybody at Trophy? Not going to be able to get there for another hour or so.

Here having a quick one in between errands. Solid crowd but not crazy. Inside Joke is really good, I'd say a notch better than the other dipa's they've canned. Glorious day though and it's worth stopping in for a glass to see if you like it before grabbing cans.

Feel dumb, but I honestly forget exactly. Two beers and a 4-pack was about $25, seemed reasonable.

13.87 total for the four pack I believe.

I agree. Good crowd around 3:00. Perfect weather.

Cracked one open at dinner. Color threw me off at first, but the nose was great. Solid beer all around.

Amazing read here guys. I live near Charlotte and had only tried Heist beers (3-4 years back) and wasn't impressed. I'm guessing I missed hearing of a new brewer so I'll try them again. I am loving Burial recently. Their Massacre of Innocence and Gangs of Blades are phenomenal. As much as I like WW, IMO Burial is killing it

thanks to everyone here for the chapel hill recommendations over the past few weeks. I got to beer study in chapel hill twice (sadly Al's was crazy busy saturday and closed sunday so no luck there).

The Burial Ceremonial session IPA with mosaic was really nice, although a little thin even for a session. But what lacked in body was made up for with that great mosaic aroma.

I thought the wicked weed freak of nature was too malty but Pernicious was great. Also tried a triple C 3c ipa which was really well balanced.

The big mon IPA at SteelString brewery was also really nice.

thanks again everyone. here's hoping more Burial beers make it up to NY soon.

A little bit disappointed in this new batch of Hawkbill. Still good, but not as good as last time for sure.

I think we got the last batch in the Triangle within a day or two of canning - this one was canned 2/13. Makes me wonder if Hawkbill really has that short of a shelf life, or if they changed something up this time.

That's a good point, but I think it's significantly different.

I'd be interested to see what you think, just one person's opinion. It's still good and well worth buying.
