And to add - during releases it takes 40 mins to get a damn beer from the bar. They really need to revamp their business model. Who the hell has a yoga event prior to big release? Do it on a different day.

Worst release I've ever been to. I will never make the trip back out. Disrespectful of everyone's time. And sorry, the beer is not NOT worth it. Better shit on the shelves all over the city. I've been a huge evangelist for finback for a year+, but that ends today. Shameful

Got there at 9:30am ... most employees showed up after me... yoga and beer started at 11am.... 12:05pm someone pops their head out at says sorry 10 minutes.... 12:40pm they finally start to sell with a set time at NOON!!! I walk inside to see all of the Yoga people have bought the collabs before us.... cool you want to host an event... but to delay a big release with no reason not only makes YOU look bad, but also Sole and Sandcity (I'm sure they don't want your rep. when they release smoothly) and to also give a slap in the face to people that have been lined up for hours outside by letting people stroll in and buy it before them is messed up.

As someone who buys 6+ cases of finback a month, I may be done with them after this release. They sure need to put out an apology to loyal customers otherwise they'll be closing shop quickly.

We're gonna have one of our biggest releases in the short history of our brewery this Saturday, should we start a "yoga and beer" event an hour before we've told everyone on every social media site we post on? Of course we should. Unbelievable.

This was my first release since BQExC last spring. That release was slow as hell too, but at least it wasn't delayed. The one point of sale doesn't make any sense- there's room in that giant space to service more than one customer at a time. They've done enough releases at this point to see how it impacts their customers. The yoga thing is insult to injury. I don't get high and mighty about craft beer usually but the customer service strikes me as if they don't care about the experience of buying beer. I work with my buddies and we constantly buy and share Other Half, Interboro, KCBC, SingleCut, LIC, Carton, Kane, Tired Hands, and cans and bottles from points beyond. Finback is conspicuously missing from our shares and this is why. Not one of us will put up with the buying experience. This will be the last time I go to their taproom for anything until I hear that they've addressed these issues.

With craft beer releases all over improving over the years, there is absolutely no excuse any more for effed up releases. Most of us here who don't know how to run breweries based on our experience and what we read about releases could plan a release now.

I don't usually shit on my local breweries and I am at finback every single release, but this is the last one for me. Got there at 11 out at 1:30. Door opened at 12:34.

Faster than Light was subpar this week too. Didn't pick any up just had one on draft while in line. Their beers are good but not worth this BS. I know they read these comments and their Instagram, get another f-ing iPad. I'll buy it for you. If you're late, apologize, offer a free small pour. Whatever.

But don't act like it's OK to disrespect your loyal customers like this. Gross.

I am 100% done until they change their practices.

    Bye.

I'm a little torn on this. It's crazy they didn't open on time, and it caused the line to jam up more than it would've. You'd think they'd have the foresight to think to schedule yoga on a different Saturday. Using a fourth person on a pos to help the line move instead of just three people working sales would be great.

Having said that I'm not nearly as frustrated as everyone else seems to be. I got here pretty close to one. Spent 15 mins outside the brewery, but once I got inside it wasn't too bad. I had two beers on tap and a sandwich, and was out after an hour and a half. It's not ideal, but I've waited longer at other similar releases. It would be great if the release had as much attention as at other half, but if you're not selling out like they are why would you hire more people.

Again it's crazy they didn't open on time, but it's your own fault if you showed up early(9am!?!) to a brewery that hasn't sold out in months.

Also line from door to pos around 230. Nothing sold out.

As a usual avid defender and proponent of Finback, today was just unacceptable. In the past I have wondered why people don't line up more for Oscillation and the stouts as they are as good or better than the likes of many OH, LIC, Interboro, etc releases. Sure it is out of the way, but it isn't like the others are convenient.

Anyway, that said I think Finback lost a lot of future business today. I will not be inclined to wait in line again and I know for a fact 5 other friends I was with will 100% not wait there again. Everything about today was poorly executed, and this is not their first rodeo so there are no excuses. I do hope someone from Finback actually reads the threads, and takes some action.

1 POS still, really? 2 tenders and not doing 4oz pours? If they want to compete with the big dogs, they need to figure this stuff out. It isn't difficult. They could literally pick any 3 people from the line and say 'hey we'll give you a case of free beer to run a POS for 2 hours', it isn't rocket science. Just so disheartening, every other brewery takes steps to provide better customer service and Finback basically just gave everyone the middle finger today.

The only highlight from today's release was the guy that looked like a hybrid between a 70's pornstar and a skinny version of Pablo Escobar from Narcos

BA BQE sold out within a few hours.

Maybe they would have more hype if the customer service didnt suck. They have good beer but unless its BA BQE im not dealing with that bullshit. More people would show up on release days.

Also, hiring more people to have the process go faster for your customers shows you value their time and money. They refuse to address the issue which makes it seem like they dont give a shit.
