Highland Park Brewery thread

It's been bottled twice so far. Per someone at the brewery, a new batch in bottles is definitely coming. Whoever I spoke to also said - specifically in relation to Raised Eyebrows - that their house culture is really starting to take on some unique characteristics.

Man, I did not know the Highland Park area could taste so good. This is some tasty beer.

 

I'll be there at 9am sharp.

Just cracked a b1 of Raised Eyebrows and its drinking amazing. Can't wait for b3, although I don't live in LA anymore... kind of a problem but I'll make it work somehow

 

I cried when I drank my last one.

 

And you guys wonder why I buy so much? My sun soaked stash is still thriving.

 

Opened a bottle of Cold Box and while I lost almost a third of it to gushing, it was very good. Really lemony and bright flavors.

 

Yeah, I haven't opened any of mine yet, thanks for the reminder to do it outside or over a sink. I did watch Ross open a bottle of something at the Hermosillo yesterday that gushed, I assumed it was a Cold Box but I didn't ask.

 

Timbo Pils might be the best beer made in LA county

 

Yup, had about 4 of them last night.

 

The Cold Box lambic glassware was still available as of last night. ~$8.75 per with tax.

 

What are the chances cans will still be available at 7:30 tomorrow? I'm guessing zero?

 

Very unlikely due to haze, might have a chance if monkish drops any cans today.

Good luck. Thought about going. But have too much hoppiness in the fridge. Plus the drive back on a Monday. Ha. I hope it's not another sh!te show like the other side. HpB can releases aren't bad. Hermisillo is a chill place. Maybe a little on the hipster side.

 

They have a new batch of all the yeast that's pretty damn tasty.
