Yes a private event for its Owners Group. They were allowed to bring a guest, its been sold out for a few weeks.

 

Looks like the IOS app got updated. Also looking at the brewery list, seems like there are 4 main tents this year and Ccb has multiple locations at 3 different tents.

 

I just downloaded the iOS app and it doesn't look updated for this year. App info says it hasn't been updated since March 2016

 

Where are you seeing the brewery locations in the tents? Thanks

 

I don't see an update either. Or a different app. Confused.

 

Am on Android but, what I see is an updated brewery and beer list. The map is still out of date as is the info tab and the title (2016).

I assume the other poster says there are 4 beer tents and the updated breweries have their spot number with some being in A,B,C, or D, whereas last year there were only A,B,C.

 

Lets get something together for Friday night if possible at the Waterside -

A few of us interested in a bottle share - tricky part is organizing time/location at hotel. We wandered around the lobby Fri night and had trouble finding folks to share a Cherry BCS. Friday night preferred as a share after the Huna day doesn't seem enjoyable

If your aim is to get completly murdered during Huna day then a share that night is not going to be enjoyable.

Last year we went up stairs took showers and a quick nap... found some food and ended up on the patio around 9.

I am not staying at the hotel for Friday night this year. Just Sat.

 

Anyone else notice that the box the wristbands came in says "You can pick up Hunahpu's Imperial Stout bottles starting at 1:00pm at the Marriott Waterside Hotel" while the e-mail we received last week indicates that bottle pickup starts at 9:00am? I'm hoping the e-mail is correct and it's a misprint on the box as I would prefer to pick up bottles prior to the festival.

 

Last year was 1pm and I'm assuming it will be the same this year.

 

The video they put out last week Specifically says 9am. It is the same entrance as last year along the waterfront. He was very specific that it was the only way in.

 

Is there a full Hunahpu Vertical going on with all the years and Barrel aged variants? We have a Cali Brandy and DB plus years 13-16 to offer up for a share if there's one. Mainly wanting to try the 3 BA versions released back in 2012.

 

Just received confirmation from Cigar City that pickup is actually 1:00pm, not 9:00am as indicated in the e-mail and video. Not sure if this was a last minute change that happened prior to the wristbands being sent out or if it was just an error in the original e-mail. My guess would be the latter as I'm sure the wristband boxes were created some time ago. This is pretty disappointing as I was looking forward to picking up the bottles before entering the festival.

 

have you shipped Huna/CCB bottles in these before? i know those bottles are oddly shaped. Don't want to count on using these and then have no other out when I get there! thanks for the help

I wonder what the layout is going to be for this year. I don't remember them having room for a 4th tent on the same side as the other three. My guess is that either there are smaller tents or they are putting a tent on the CCB Trailer side
