Seriously chicks(and some dudes) in line trying on every color of every size of a shirt while I'm trying to get a pour. It's a beer fest, not a goddamn JCPenney.

Exactly. While I would like the opportunity to buy some merch and support some of the breweries that I really liked, if it's at the expense of a tent that could have housed 20 jockey boxes, I'd take the taps.

Edit: Not 20/40 additional taps, I meant spreading out the total amount of beers more.

If they're giving away any it'd make sense they're doing more than 2, right?

Link seems to only be posted on their twitter. You could buy 2 when it was live. not sure how they're attaching names to it for the +1. I added the second name in the notes section when I got through

it's 50 at minimum, and 100 at most, do you really think it takes that long to sell that many tickets, especially when so many people want them? it's not hard to put notifications on twitter/inst/fb such that when CCB posts you get a ping. I'm sure others did this as well.

Also add in the fact that people may have had two devices taking up 4 or more tickets. So it may not have sold out instantly. Last year I got mine after someones cart timed out ~10mins after the link was posted when it was previously listed as "sold out"

Had two in my cart and when I went to submit the order it said the quantity was too great; clicked "edit cart" and it spit me back to the main page. weak.

For anyone interested, here's the text from the item description page:

For the second year in a row, Cigar City Brewing is offering 100 Early Access Passes to skip the line and get into Hunahpu's Day 2017 15 minutes before everyone else! That’s 15 minutes of exploring the park, scoring merch and whale hunting.

Early Access Pass guests will even have a special entrance off of the Riverwalk by the Marriott Waterside.

The best part of this, 100% of the sales from these passes will benefit the Pediatric Cancer Foundation http://events.fastercure.org/goto/CigarCity.

Passes are $50 each, and you can purchase up to 2 passes per transaction.

Can you explain any further? It's not like they don't know about Huna Day in advance. Seems odd they wouldn't have all these treatments on like in the past.

The taproom has also sucked lately. Not all taps have beer on and it's largely their normal offerings. Not sure what's going on lately but I've had no real motivation to go over there.

I have noticed that. Lately I have been picking up my ECC stuff and heading to AC to spend my money and drink beer. (well I do get a couple of Janus Crowlers, That beer is my crack)

Had a couple people tell me all new recipes must be approved by OB. Not something I want to believe but there does seem to be some changes since the buyout.

Same here. I go to pick up ECC bottles and if they have anything interesting on. It's largely their regular beers, nitro versions of the same beers, one or two random cask beers and a few one offs of lagers or some random beer I have no interest in trying.

I like that they're increasing their barrel capacity but I haven't been super fond of the changes at CCB over the past year or two. I also want to know when we're going to see all these new sours beers we've heard about for a year.

Last year for early admission, not all volunteers/ccb workers got the same memo. Some people at the CCB truck refused to serve saying "we're not serving till 11!" while others were like "Fuck it, whatcha want?"

A couple of the guys there said that demand for jai-alai has been extremely high since the merger, and the brewpub facility cannot meet the demand. So production of jai-alai at CCBC has been a top priority in recent weeks, which explains why CCBC was putting out some very rare and cool things up on the board for a while. But now those things are gone, and there's nothing to replace them with, since so much of the focus is on the production of jai-alai. They'll catch up, but the board may look ugly for a while.
