Yeah I really enjoyed the one I had as well, and have one left I'm holding onto for now. I also agree though, that I would suggest ramping up the PB in this years batch a big amount as it was very subtle (not sure if that's what they were going for though).

 

&Thursday, the new collaboration between Cycle and Bruery. Could work.

 

I wouldn't mind them calling it "Personal Day" as that is probably what you'll need if you drink it straight to the dome.

 

Per the email looks like SMM is starts at noon this time. Should hopefully alleviate the issues with it being so packed

 

The press release for Share This OC mentioned $50K donated from each of last Share This releases. At $1 per bottle that's a run of 50,000 bottles for each! I guess I don't really have a sense of the Bruery's production capacity, but that's way higher than I would have guessed.

 

This doesn't deserve it's own thread, but one of ya'll might know:

Why doesn't Bruery make a Black Tuesday variant with just vanilla beans added, nothing else? Have they? Is there any specific thought process? Same with Avery Uncle Jacobs, everyone loved the Calligypian, but I'd prefer just Vanilla to coca/coffee/other stuff.

 

i hope they give reserve fist dibs on the special CR merchandise released for CR next month. its my wifes favorite beer, would be cool to get her a CR glass or hoodie or something
@BruerJoel is the special merch CR related or just regular limited Bruery merch. if it is CR can you give us any info on what they are?

I know it's a little late, but just opened my first Mash and French and holy sheep dip is it good. I must admit, I'm not a fan of regular Mash. I find it kind of peppery and not sweet enough to be in the same class as other BA barleywine's. And I'm not saying that M&F is either. But if you want a liquid sweet breakfast treat with alcohol, this is it. Damn I wish I ordered more but the Mash had me gun shy. Well done Bruery. Rue D'Floyd, Befuddlement, and now this... you've made my first year as RS pretty kick ass! P.S. please release more Mash and French Toast.

 

Let's call it Fundamental Friday, and make it a Bottle Logic collab... Sort of Fundamental Observation (and even Forces) on roids, LOL!

I wouldn't mind seeing a Terruex & HPB collab, though it would be hard for Bob to collect enough ingredients on his walk to work for a batch size THAT big...

For OG Bruery, an Alesmith collab would be nice. I figure Modern Times would do one once they establish the Anaheim location.

 

I would suggest taking a walk around Terreux and look at barrels, because pretty sure MT has already visited and something is in the works in barrels.
