You should have had your wife wait until today to have the baby so you could both have the same birthday, what's a few days. Happy birthday man!

Didin't you have one of those, like... last year or something?? Sheesh!

I'll join you with a FW beer (in your more recent post), though you are likely done with yours and mine is slightly different:

This Luponic Distortion is 005, a little younger than @Lingenbrau, but probably a little older than his newest addition. Cheers!

If I could get more peach in the aroma, this brew would be exquisite. Still is very, very, good.

Staying on the peanut butter train... I dug this one out of the back of the beer fridge and it's over a year old but still tasting great.

It's because of our logical, metrical system, where 11,2 oz is a third of a liter. Your crazy 12 ounces is 355 ml, or 0,355 of a liter. WHERE IS THE LOGIC IN THAT, MAN!?

Many more happy birthdays to you. Anyone who enjoys family, beer, proper glassware and ...goats? has got to ok.

It will make much better sense after a few more beers.:grinning: I'm hoping anyway.

Holy shit it's Friday! What a week. I happened to be at the shop while these were being delivered, so I certainly couldn't pass it up!

Thank God it's Friday, BAs. A terrible week in all regards. Thankfully, this Pineal is making me start to forget.

    SUE VARIANTS
    PSEUDOSUE
A – clear golden color, white head sticks and leaves great lacing
S @ big tangerine, peach, grapefruit, orange peel, melon, almost flowery at times but no overt floweriness, no malt character (in a good way)
T # huge tangerine, peach, papaya, passion fruit, melon, grapefruit, orange peel
M % light to medium mouthfeel, alcohol completely covered, aftertaste is grapefruit, orange peel, fruit juice
O & great beer. I think the question of this versus Zombie Dust is entirely dependent on freshness. They are interestingly different but both are world class Citra pale ales. They are miles above most other Citra beers – for example Citra Ass Down, more like Citra Ass Clown.
    MOSAIC DH PSEUDO SUE
A – mildly hazy golden beer, again white head sticks and leaves great lacing
S @ huge dank hop resin, ganja, garlic and onion in a good way, grapefruit, orange/lemon/lime peel, overly ripe fruit
T # big dank hop resin, ganja, garlic onion, citrus, orange peel, peach, tangerine, overly ripe fruit
M $ light to medium mouthfeel, alcohol completely covered, aftertaste is dank hops, citrus peel, overly ripe fruit
O * better than plain Sue but this is a completely different beer. The dank Mosaic dry hops change the entire aroma/flavor profile.
    DOUBLE DH PSEUDO SUE
A – uniformly very hazy golden beer, big white head sticks and leaves great lacing. More hazy than mosiac dh.
S ! Huge overly ripe grapefruit, tangerine, peach, orange, citrus pith, lemon/lime, melon, papaya, passion fruit, melon, it just keep going and going. Definite raw hop bite – it almost burns the nose.
T ÷ huge citrus. Peach, tangerine, citrus pith, lemon/lime, melon, papaya, passion fruit, pummelo, orange peel, overly ripe fruit. It’s excessively good.
M ^ medium due to the hop resin, alcohol covered, aftertaste is big grapefruit, orange peel, citrus pith, hop resin bite
O # this beer is perfect.

DDH SUE > Mosaic DH Sue = Sue.

DDH is so intense. Mosaic DH has more Mosaic character, while Sue has more Citra character.

Winner winner chicken dinner! This is still the cream of the crop when it comes to all around coffee stouts! DDC recently changed from 6 packs to 4 packs in local markets which raised the price per bottle 50 cents... It's sadly been getting on my nerves...

The home brew looks tasty, I'd drink it. Wait a minute, I am...

Here's the same one in a different light..

I like the color. Has a little flatness to it, and maybe a liiitle bitterness on the tail end. Overall I'm satisfied, good beer @cjgiant ! Fyi, this was from the "top".

Happy Friday, BA's! Home early and drinking Magnify's Flash Man, released today. This is an old-fashioned, West Coast-style DIPA hopped with Amarillo, Simcoe, Cascade, and Centennial and dry hopped it with Simcoe pellets and lupulin powder. At 8% ABV, it's dangerous. Cheers to a great weekend!
