Yes, I believe there were 10 variants for sale in bottles and the other 10 varieties were drafts from years past, e.g.- DL 2015, 2014, 2013, Biggleswade, Port, etc.

 

I full plan on tickets going on sale the 18th, because I'll be out of town on vacation.

 

I think that including prior years' versions is a stretch to say there were 20 variants last year. Not disputing you, just saying I think it's an odd way for them to have said that. There were 10 variants last year, that's it (assuming your 10 number is correct...I didn't bother to check the exact number).

 

I really hope it doesn't go one sale on the 18th.

 

There were 10 variants bottled last year, they had previous years on draft therefore more than 10 variants were at DLD.

 

There were 10 variants + 3 bottled variants from 2015 available to choose from. So 13 variants were offered.

The 3 from 2015 they had bottles of were: 2015 The Earl of Biggleswade, 2015 Akvavit, 2015 Muerte

Not sure why DNA Info reported "about 20" but maybe they were given a bad quote from someone at FFF.

 

This will be my first year in about 6 that I'll miss. With our first born on the way, having the event on Mother's Day weekend is probably not going to work out this year. On the positive side of things, having a first born will finally allow me to trade for some ultra rare whales.

 

First off congrats on the kid. Secondly, bummer about the fest. Who makes a rookie mistake like that after 6 years of attending DLDs? Rule of thumb always conceive when tickets go on sale so you don't run into the issue.

 

He was in the clear though. It's never been on Mother's Day weekend in the past. Always the end of April.

 

Yeah, and the wife has gone with me before. She's been a trooper. I probably owe her this one. Next year though? I'll be making up for time lost.

I'm a bit confused... why is there so much speculation? FFF announced ahead of time last year when they would be on sale, didn't they? They didn't just appear on sale out of nowhere.
