Well, there's the must trifecta: cycle, angry chair and CCBC. But look beyond these three and there are some outstanding additional options. 7venth Sun, Escape, Rapp, Tampa Beer Works are worth visiting. Coppertail and Green Bench are very cool places, but the beer is kinda meh.

Cycle is going to be a little far... but maybe 30 each way. Coppertail, ccb, angry chair, coppertail hidden springs are all close by.

You are going to want to know the beer events going on at each place so you can either attend ones you are interested in, or avoid crowds at bottle releases etc. plus some places have closed events on certain nights

Read page 1 of this thread! It's a comprehensive list of the "things to do" around here. As others have rightly suggested, check the various breweries' social-media pages to ensure they'll be open. Have a great time while you're here!

Third on calusa. Their barrel aged brown is outstanding and so is citronious. They're bringing some sours, and I got to try the base beer before fruit was added and they should turn some heads. Finally, they're bringing a collaboration IPA with casa agria which should be great too.

Although they aren't local, casa agria makes amazing beer but aren't as well known yet.

I've visited their tap room last year. It's a great brewery. The Guayaba de la Pasion is incredible

Agreed about Casa. I haven't had the Guayaba de la Pasion yet but it is very high on my list to try on Saturday.

Casa was the surprise brewery for me last year. I enjoyed everything I had from them. I joined their bottle club this year and so far everything has been great. Looking forward to their Calusa collab.

I have an 8 bottle ticket for this, is it possible to get my wife in when I get there? Don't want or genuinely need a bottle ticket just want access. Is it possible to get a general admission ticket at the gate?
    Thanks for your help

By the way , I believe there will be a bottle share at Tampa Beer Works the Friday before as usual. Probably the only share that I will be attending on Friday after all the tradin' is done that afternoon.

Serious question for those who have attended before. Since Im taking my dad and this is his first beer festival, I dont' want to overwhelm him chasing beer when there is obviously bunch of it to be had. That being said our driver is dropping us off. At what time realistically we can arrive and have a decent selection of brews without needing to arrive at 8am and fight with people to line up to the festival ?

I do think this year it should only take 30-45 minutes to get everyone in the initial mass gathering through. Because they are allowing 2 hour early arrival to get I'd checked. That was the issue last year. Since it only takes 1 second ton scan a wristband but potentially 15 seconds to check an Id and stamp a hand. I think if you just want to avoid the crowds and walk in, if you show up around 1145-12 you should have multiple hours of accesss to great beer still.

There is going to be good beer all day. If you want the more highly thought of beers you can probably get there at 11:15 and walk in pretty quickly. Everyone early should be scanned already and head straight in.
