I prefer the weekday releases, but have no problem with them spreading out the crowds. The yields have seemingly been less but so far it doesn't seem to have made any particular beer more difficult to acquire.

I too like the double release days, definitely cuts down lines....unless it's a milkshake release then all bets are off.

I've never been to one of these Sunday releases before. What time do people start lining up? Is this a lawn chair thing? Advice appreciated.

Based on recent history, there's no need to line up for a Sunday release. Show up around 12:30 and you'll get a full allotment with no line.

I can't like this post enough, people need to take a step back from lining up 4 hours early for no reason. Last weekends release lasted easily until almost 4 for extra knuckle

I'm curious about that Brain Teaser. I wonder what, to them, differentiates a blonde ale from a pale ale. Usually I would take that to mean "less hoppy, more balanced", but that doesn't seem to be the case here.

The difference between a blonde ale and a pale ale is a couple hundred chairs.

Maybe they are using it to differentiate a smaller ABV beer? Or maybe it's not "hazy"?
Does seem counter-intuitive, since they say this beer has some kilned malt, which they don't normally mention for their "pale" ales.

But nice to see them quantify their hopping rate!

Probably will be a small turnout regardless since people went full ****** at Sole.

Everything I have seen so far on Facebook has been positive. It didn't even sell out yet...

Some people line up to trade, though so that they don't merely leave with 12 of one beer, they leave with 5-6 different stuff to sample

No need to stay warm, I walked right in yesterday around 1:00, got my allotment and left. 5 minute ordeal in total. I went over the the Cafe and had a Mago Tago.....very good.

So Alien Church with a different hopping schedule? A different beer entirely?

I had mosaic mago tago for the first time this past weekend and thought it was great. I never had the original mago tago that was recalled. Did they change the recipe or just the addition of mosaic made it much better?
