    Just to clarify. Yes, we will be brewing more of DEMO TAPE TEN and it will be called Danko. Named after two things... A member of The Band and also the choice Rye we get from Valley Malt. I am brewing Danko next week and it will be available in late March early April. Look for the release date on FB/BA/our website etc.

    When I first saw that name, I thought of Rick Danko but then convinced myself it couldn't have anything to do with him. That is awesome and made my day. How about a version called "Danko, Sip The Beer!" :grinning:

    While this article was written about Tree House Brewing, there was a nice note near the end highlighting Exhibit 'A' and their Briefcase Porter:

    Something Darker:

    "If you're looking for something that's a little bit darker, with a little bit of a different character, also in Framingham there's a great brewery Exhibit A. They make a beer called the Briefcase Porter that is this beautiful, sort of English-style porter with some wonderful malt aromas and malt flavors that I think any dark beer drinker would love."

    A friend recently gave me a can of Cat's Meow. I was really pleasantly surprised. Solid beer for sure, and will try to try more of Exhibit A's offerings next time I'm up in Massachusetts.

    Maybe it's the fact it's a perfect 65 and sunny Spring day, maybe it's the 5 mile hike I just finished, or just maybe Goody Two Shoes is the best kolsch made in America.

    So glad they took over the JA space and even happier they came out of the gates w a kolsch, such a sadly under represented style.

    Anyone try this 6/1 batch of Hair Raiser? It seems a lot less hazy from when I last had it, pretty much transparent. Maybe my memory isn't the best, but it seems like a much different beer then I remember.

    It's really good, and I like that it brings something different to the table. A lot of people are brewing the New England style IPA, but I don't know of anyone else doing one built around rye and simcoe.

    ^^^ Westbrook is doing one called One Claw (Rye IPA) - they also have Two Claw and Three Claw now : )

    There's also Bissell Bros Lux. I just get excited because Danko is easily available at bottle shops near me and at the brewery, which is like 30 minutes from my house.

    Anyone try the new Cat's Meow? I'm wondering how it compares to the original, given that it now features the HBC 472 hop. I'm intrigued. Wonder if they'll keep on with this hop or start doing more variants featuring different hops.
