Washed up is very good. It remind some me of Higher Burning from LIC, only better. These guys are onto something.

I'd just like to take this time to echo the fact that Washed Up is fantastic. Right up there with Power of ONE. Given the fact that recent batches of Washed Up, Mofosaic,, and Even Mo Mofo have been exponentially better than previous batches, I think it's safe to say that Sand City's future is looking very bright.

Any speculation on when the next can release will be? I feel like we are due for another one soon.

I had the SC/Finback collab at Haymaker last night, phenomenal beer. Super juicy, perfect feel. I had a LIC Canyons after it and I thought the collab was much better.

Cannons I thought was pretty middle of the pack beer especially for LIC

absolutely loved mofosaic on tap at the haymaker event. that would be my every day ipa if i had the choice. beautiful beer.

power of ONE was special also but it seemed a little heavy handed compared to mofosaic. still a great beer, reminded me of any DDH other half, which is not a bad thing.

Pure speculation, but I figure next one will be mid-week, with no advanced announcement, as they seem to be alternating between weekday and weekend (Sunday) releases.

I would greatly prefer that. Even though I work about 30 minutes away, I'm actually moving around the north shore of Huntington/Smithtown this week for work. Definitely would be ideal haha

Having Power of One for first time tonight, really good. Excellent smell, really chewy. For me Infinity + One >> Power of One > One.

Infinity + One clear best one for me, hope that one comes back again soon.

Nice. I grew up in Smithtown. Between the town of Huntington, Sand City, and Tap and Barrel you have some great craft beer spots in close proximity.

Probably the best tap list on Long Island (Black Sheep is up there), but their absurd prices annoy me to the point that I won't go there when I'm in the area. There is absolutely no reason that a place in a strip mall in Suffolk County should be charging more per ounce than every bar in Manhattan (easily confirmed on BeerMenus) for Grimm, OH, etc.

Yeah...I treat Tap as an occasional indulgence. It's expensive, but it's nice to walk into a bar that always has breweries like OH, Grimm, Hill Farmstead, Tired Hands, LIC beer project, Sand City, etc. on tap.

Still had cans at opening today. Just cracked open a Second Wave. Tasting absolutely phenomenal.

Hoping they've tweaked Close Talker since the last cans. The last batch was good, but nothing to write home about.

Close Talker is good, I popped in earlier today myself, but nothing crazy. After Washed Up....tough to top that. Haven't drank a Second Wave yet.

Just cracked a Close Talker. Good, but my opinions haven't changed. This batch of Second Wave is far superior.

Been a long day/night of several beers and coming off a fresh julius to this is really eye-opening...

I love julius (probably my favorite regular treehouse) and this not only holds it's own but might be my preference

I also had a washed up earlier after a mylar bags and some finback and again the sand city stole the show. just really impressed is all...
