Hey anybody no a great place for food and draft selection for Friday night?

 

Yeah I'm also interested if there will be any Hotel lobby/ballroom or hotel pool shares like there have been in years past. I'm in an airbnb so it won't be as simple as just walking downstairs.

 

You must be a rookie!! I kid , I kid. We usually take a shower and have a quick nap... go get some dinner then we are ready to drink again. But we always have that one guy that is just fucked the whole time and we have to make sure he doesn't fall into the river.

 

It's complete BS. I don't see how they are even remotely justifying that price.

 

I can't stand people who nitpick every little detail about good breweries run by good people or great beer events run by good people. If enough people start acting as whiny / entitled as you have in this thread, that's when organizers start thinking "Hmmm, maybe Huna Day isn't worth the hassle anymore...."

Again, to reiterate my point, CCB trumpeted those warnings because they found an awesome venue for their event and wanted to have it there in 2016, 2017, and several years to come. If they didn't pass along the city's warning about lining up early, and then a bunch of people showed up at 6 AM blocking the sidewalk to ensure they got their taste of Mornin' Delight, the city wouldn't have issued the permit for 2017.

I'm sorry that you were too daft to consider that getting there a little early might've been a good idea. I suppose you are also the type of guy who never goes over the speed limit, because you "follow directions". I'm assuming when you were moving towards the end of the line last year, you also didn't cross the street unless it was at a designated crosswalk.... because otherwise that's J-Walking, which again is against the rules.

I love how your suggestion was "don't be daft dude and show up early"...right after you posit that showing up early would have prevented CCB from having the festival there this year. SAD!

 

Can someone help clarify something for me? Inside the wristband box, it states that you can't pick up your Huna bottles until 1pm (about half way through the festival). I thought I read somewhere that the best option was to "pick them up before the festival, drop them off, then head back to the fest before it begins," but I can't seem to find where I read that. I was hoping to not have to wait until the end of the fest to grab my bottles. Anyone? Thanks.

You can pick them up starting at 9. It's in the video link they emailed you and another email was sent to clarify that point because the box the wristband came in was wrong. It was also discussed in this very thread. You probably read it in one of those spots

So I just scored last minute tix and guy sending bands via mail, I shouldn't have any worries about registering both to my wife and I? I contemplated not paying him until I received and registered but told him I would PayPal when he sends tracking! Has anyone done this last year? Website says band has name of buyer on band need to match or some shits.....Lil help please

This exactly! Everyone is always so gross after sweating all day from Huna so it's a quick shower- grab some much needed dinner and your good to go again.
