And maybe 3 Stars can teach them how to make beer for more than 300 people a week!

I agree. And I feel like they're gonna brew something soon that can compete with the Aslins, Veils, etc

The SAVOR beer list has been released or leaked. I think it's a bit stronger this year, including Veritas 018 and Red Angel.

I'll be on the lookout, that beer was really a surprise. It has a rich coffee character that i've only ever got in Andall beers from The Answer in Richmond. Its like sticking your head into one of those coffee bins at the fancy grocery store.

So Union is releasing a new beer this Friday, per their FB page:

This one is for the real [hop] heads.
Set free your inner WOOK this Friday March 10th at 5pm for an exclusive tap room only can release of our headiest DIPA ever.
Hopped with copious quantities of Zythos, Ekuanot, Citra & Lemondrop dancing on the lawn of malted 2-row barley, wheat, and oats.
    Unfiltered, unshowered, & unrestrained.
Join the #wooklife brothers & sisters.
    4pk, 16oz, no limits.

Unfortunately I can't make it up there this weekend, would love to try and get a hold of a 4pk to try this though.

LOL at brau pouring the wise and the lovely. That's a great beer, it's just not exactly showing off your "skills" pouring a year old brew with a malt bill out of CCB.

Please note that I would be fairly ecstatic if they did brew it again, and made more of it, and managed to get the cans full of beer and un oxidized into retailers.

I appreciate the Phish reference, but nobody should want to live the wook life. They are disgusting creatures, but entertaining at the same time. Having said that, sounds like a tasty DIPA.

^ I've been trying to suppress my inner w00k for over a decade now.

Mattina Rossa at WFP, $15+, no limits.

I must say though - after having been excited enough to have one at lunch - it's lacking the sour punch of b1, and there's a touch of lingering diacetyl in the finish. I wonder if Allagash released this one a bit too early before the brett ate up the butter produced by the pedio at bottling... they typically hold their bottles for awhile to let them mature, and this one was bottled mid-December and already on shelves. Just a warning for those that might be looking to hoard bottles.. might clean up a bit after a couple more months in the bottle though.

Wait, you have to be a member of FB to even view Union's page? Lame...

I don't think we're going to see a local collab that is an NEIPA with a local brewery. Hasn't been one yet and I don't see it changing. Why give up the secret to someone who is direct competition if you don't need to?

Are you implying that cans making their way down here is out of the question?
