I was actually hoping that I COULD pickup my bottles right after the festival. At least that's my plan as I only want to lug those bottles around for minimal time.

Last year you could get in line when they closed the fest and pick up your bottles. I am sure you can still do that. They would rather get it all out of the hotel then have to lug it back to the brewery.

"Bottles of Hunahpu’s® Imperial Stout will be available for pickup at the Marriott Waterside Hotel, 700 South Florida Ave, Tampa, FL 33602, starting at 9:00am. The hotel is adjacent to the festival grounds. You may reenter the festival after picking up your beers, provided you have your wristband. Attendees must be present to receive bottles. The bottles can only be picked up by the wristband holder. Bottles must be picked up before 5:00pm."

The festival ends at 4 if you get in line then I am pretty sure you will be fine. If they close off the line at 5pm and people will riot. They will most likely continue to hand out bottles as long as the line is consistent.

Yeah I take that to mean "if we get through the entire line by 4:45 and you stroll in at 5:15 you're SOL", not that they are going to stop handing out bottles at 5:01 if there's still people waiting who lined up after the fest.

I *SHOULD* have an extra 12-shipper. I've ordered some for the group I'll be with, but think I'll have an extra. If you want to buy it PM me. (Actual cost including shipping and tax)

I believe if you watch the video they sent out it says that you just have to be in line for pick up by 5.

I'm sure this has been asked but 23 pages is a lot to go through. I'm sure everyone has a different opinion but do you think it's better go to at 9am and get bottles, drop them off and go to fest? Or just pick them up after? Anyone have an average wait time for both? Any input is appreciated.

This is only the second year at this location and this is the first they're offering morning pick up. If anyone has any idea how it's going to go, they're guessing.

I think everyone should pick their beers up at 11, drop them off, then go to the fest

PErsonally I would prefer to wait in a bottle line beforehand knowing that there will be a nice beerfest afterwards and then being able to leave after I'm drunk without having to wait in a long line

After all the folks run out of beer on tap it won't even be 4pm. We left early last year and didn't even wait in line. 3-330 and it was a breeze.

For any out of towners still looking for a way to ship their TBBW purchases home, American Spirits in downtown St. Pete is advertising that they have packing and shipping material (12 bottle styro shipper pictured in the post) available for FREE. "No catch" according to them.

I did the same. Most of the good beer outside of the last tapping for CCB. No line at all to get bottles.
