16oz of Good Good was too much. It was overly sweet. Good flavor, just wish it wasn't so unbalanced.

Also, reports of the lines from the last Sole release are just ridiculous (yes, I realize I'm posting in a Tired Hands thread).

Thanks for that input. I suspected that might be the case.

I only drank an ounce or so of this beer and while I enjoyed that 'sip' I suspected that over a longer drinking session (e.g., a pint) I might have the same feelings as you expressed there.

    Cheers!

I enjoyed it, but I will say I enjoyed it less the more I drank it. I give them a lot of credit for getting that much fruit flavor exclusively from the hops, but as William mentioned, it was overly sweet. There were 3 of us that ordered it at the same time and all 3 of us after the first sip said, "Wow, that's really good." But by the last sip we all agreed it wasn't as good as the first sip. It was also the first beer of the night for all 3 of us.

I'll take Tired Hands over Sole....especially since Sole is doing releases about 2 hours from me.

Sole seems to be on the level of like maybe a Magnify or Bolero Snort if they had a facility (or did releases at their gypsy Double Nickel). Really just about people being so excited about beer and wanting to believe and support in locals that they overrate the actual product. Having said that, both do make some good stuff. I preferred Pineapple Smoosh over Pineapple Milkshake and Most Important Meal over something like Stone Enjoy By 02.14.17.

That's part of the reason they have a certain stigma associated with them among this bunch.

I came across something in a book the other day, Cheskin's "sensation transference"

If the beer looks good and sounds good, psychologically the consumer is more likely to find that it tastes good! That is not to say their beer isn't good, but that this kind of marketing doesn't hurt

Not a fan of this new line path. Now the line takes a sharp left down Athens, passing in front of houses and garages. Then eventually winds back to Cricket. Wonder why they changed it?

Construction in the cricket lot. It is a weird line though.

I'm tapping out. Showed up to get in line, said screw came inside to eat and relax with a beer. You line people are brave too much for me now I guess.

It's actually not too bad now. You could jump in line later and probably still get the Severed Goddess. Guessing the new Church won't make it much longer.

Severed Goddess and HopHands made it to the bar. Anyone know when Church sold out?

I missed it by a few minutes and I got my cans at around 6:20 or so. Tried drippy before I missed out and thought it was good but man that orange was front and center. I was surprised how much bitter rind there was too. Severed goddess is awesome.

5:45 or so I think, I got there at 5:00 but saw the line and went in to eat and relax in hopes line would die a little, it didn't. So I waited just as long and then missed drippy, can't win them all but at least my belly was full.

Thanks. I like to know for future reference. It seems these days you are safe as long as you get in line by sale time. Even with milkshakes.

FYI - dropped by just after Noon today, pretty big line for a day-after sale (30+) but they still have full allotments of both SGH and HopHands available.

It's very good. Lemon is added but it still tastes like beer more than lemonade.

I'd love to see it more often as a lighter beer instead of Hophands.

edit: Yeah, Trendler Alt was delicious.
