Thanks! How in the world does a beer like Sump end up on the shelves of an Exxon? Man they upped their production of it. Last year it was next to impossible to score a bottle.

 

That exxon gets a really good beer selection. They have for a while. Guess they have just been in the business long enough.

Looks like Union is at DC Brau to brew a new batch of Yonder Cities. I remember that being great the first time around.

 

Diamondback Green Machine distro release today. Who's pumped?

 

I've been pestering Union and DC Brau to make Yonder Cities again for years. Looks like it's something they'll do every time CBC comes to town.

I've had a few beers since then, but at the time Yonder Cities was one of my favorite IPAs, period.

Very curious to re-explore.

For sure. All their beers I've had have been priced great.

Anyone try the new Citra Splendor cans? I always get nervous about buying a 4 pack of that beer. I've had some incredible cans, and some that are complete drain pours. I'm not a big gambler, so I rarely buy it anymore.

 

Green Machine cans out for sale at Downtown Crown, small stack right in front of the store. Seemed like a steady stream of guys in there grabbing 4pks, looked like they had about 10 cases left on the floor.

 

Was just in there around 2pm, and looked like they had a little over 6 cases left.

 

I'm definitely gonna call before I stop by. Will probably be another 2 hours before I can get there.

 

Another CBC related event-Surly at Red Apron in Union Market. Good news, because there's almost no way they'd come here for one tap takeover at a small bar. Hoping there time here looks a lot like Savor last year.

 

Picked up some Green Machine from Fenwick in Silver Spring and I'm really impressed. It's not the greatest IPA ever, but it beats driving to Veil or waiting in line at Aslin (and I've had beers from both that aren't as good as this one)

 

Appeared to be less than a case when I grabbed my 2 four packs. Also grabbed 1 Both. Anyone had that?
