Alright, question here, because this is my first time not maxing the wish option. Beret with PV is set at 8 bottles allocated. My friend sharing my membership got four yesterday. So that should mean there's still four available for purchase, right? Because there's now zero available. We didn't select the wish because four each is plenty, but is this a glitch or the new way it works? Seems weird we couldn't split the eight bottles, or that one must buy all eight outright.

It shouldn't matter and there should still be 4 left to purchase since allocations are allocations, and if you didn't max initially you should still be able to get the rest (minus the option to use the wishlist).

I would email society, that sounds like a website error.

So I can't read. He actually bought all eight, just looked again. Go on, don't mind me.

Local Reserve Society member, and couple of times a week regular visitor to the tasting room here. This will definitely keep me from going with any frequency outside of SMM any more.

And that opener was not worthy of The Bruery name.

Actually, with the stupidity of the new price increases I think the stupid bottle opener could not be a better representation of management.

Everyone loves to talk capitalism and the free market when it doesn't effect them but reset the price of luxury alcohol to market pricing and watch the fuck out

Show me anywhere a 32oz growler of something would cost $40 or a 2oz taster of Jardiner at $2.50 is considered fair market pricing and I'll give you any bottle you want from my beer collection.

New Or Xata shirt looks pretty cool. Though, I do wish I had known about it while I was at the tasting room earlier getting a growler. That All The Chocolate is amazing, and a good price at $16.

A taster of Jardinier at $2.50 is absurd considering a 25 oz bottle after discount is something like $5.50.

It is from the Tasting room email. Bryce was wearing one and I thought, "Cool shirt!", but I did not think to ask. I had my old lady in the car waiting.

Time for a little Tasting Room arbitrage! Buy a bottle of Jardinier for $5.50, ask for eight empty glasses, divide into 3oz pours, and walk around selling for $1.50 each. Gross sales of $12 means you can buy TWO bottles of Jardinier! Repeat process until you have enough for a $40 fill. BOOM: 32oz of majesty for $5.50.

Don't forget you could claim the initial Jardinier was infected and get a free growler fill.

I'm sorry, but the fair market price argument from the email I got made no sense. I can get a 4 ounce pour of Bottle Logic's top stuff for $4.50, and yet a 2 ounce (err, 3 ounce) of Black Tuesday is $5 now at The Bruery. I don't see that being in-line with market value.

So in other words, they need to be giving 4oz pours for the pricing they are charging. BOOM, problem solved. (At least for tasters)

A 4oz taster is fairly large.

Capitalism is competition not marketing to market. They're making themselves less competitive with these drastic price increases.

Especially when a large portion of their beer list (22 of 38) is 10%+ ABV

Why you gotta rain on my parade Jimmy?

I agree, 100%, but that appears to be the logic everyone is using for BL. I agree though, 2-3oz is right but really, $2 to $3.50 should be max.

They apparently disagree with you, they benchmarked the market and determined that they weren't priced where they should be so they adjusted.
