I gotta disagree man, i think they have fixed the canning issues. I haven't had an issue with cans in past several releases. The product has been extremely consistent. The subtle differences have been nothing but improvements IMO. Fresh keeps getting better and better, same with pulp.

Perhaps the cans you've purchased have been OK, but, unless you think some people are just flat out lying, it is clear from several others in this thread that there are still some problems with some cans. I can't call that "extremely consistent".

Yes people are continuing with the complaint over cans.... Issues that have happened from several releases back.

Have I had a bad can of pulp? Yes. Was it awhile ago? Again yes. I think those kind of issues are behind them is the point I'm trying to make.

The Pulp and DDH ES I was talking about were from the early January release (around 1/8 maybe?)

Again, I'm a proponent of giving a brewery like this multiple chances on issues like that, so even though I've seen issues on recent releases, I'll keep giving them chances because of the good I've seen too.

How were the crowds and lines today? Anyone popping these cans and care to share their thoughts?

At 11 am opening the tap room filled up quick. They didn't have a separate can line like they've done for other releases. You basically had to wait at the bar to order. There was a 1:00 game so I'm sure a few people were there just to drink before the game. I saw at least a few people who said they were grabbing cases before heading to Tampa.
As far as the beers go. I only bought the two new releases - Schmedium and Fresher than Fresh. I really enjoyed them both.

Tried both last night. Carbonation was good on both. First can of Can't Touch This had a great nose and tasted great up front, but for sure had a chemical bight to it unfortunately. Still drinkable, but the chemical taste is rough. We'll see if the rest of the cans share the same.

I actually really enjoyed the Snack Time though. Totally different (non hazy) beer, great fruit flavors with malt behind it and some dark chocolate finish. No off flavors at all in this one.

Ironically, I had the exact opposite experience having them on draft last weekend. Not sure if it's the canning or just two different people's taste preferences. Cheers

Let's be real. DDH Emerald wasn't a great beer to begin with. Emerald >>>>>> DDH
