I guess I would still prefer the 12oz format

Just saw Devil's Backbone Eight Point IPA in CBus. Have not seen them around before today, but have had them on vacation. Columbus is not even listed on their website yet?

I know, I walked into a Speedway (not sure if they are through out the state: but basically a gas station that just has macro and then like:GLBC SN and SA etc) and I saw stacks of Devils Backbone.

Maybe they did what 'Not your Fathers root beer' did. Went national overnight!

As most breweries purchased by AB.....(Goose, Elysian, Golden Road, 10 Barrel). You'll see their beer everywhere.

Oh, I had no idea they were purchased by AB. That makes sense then.

They are owned by the big boys. Yet another brand like Golden Road that popped up because they were bought out. Not craft beer.

Bummed I missed this, anyone know if it's still on at either Heinens or Platform? And if not, if there are any plans to brew it again?

Not currently on tap there and almost certainly gone from Heinen's. Would doubt it's seen again as it was brewed for Heinen's for their Citrus Week event or whatever that was.

I get it... but for Devils Backbone to be on selfs over Goose Island I thought was interesting.

Platform says that they're going to be canning this one and that it should be out later this month and in April..

I stand corrected then - is it the next part of that small batch IPA series they're doing?

I'm not sure if it's part of their Small Batch IPA Series.. but they have a new IPA called Bearded Gent which is part of that series and it should be released this week..

Are we expecting kbs to hit the first week of April again this year?

Hope their next IPA canning is better than Warrah, that beer was terrible in my opinion, I jumped the gun and got a sixer, lesson learned, get the single first now.

I saw 101 Bottles in Kent is having a release party on April 5. They usually do it a few days after it hits other spots, so maybe last week of March or first week of April it should drop?

One of my local bottle shops already announced that their KBS release is Friday, March 31st.

Anyone besides me wish this was released a couple months earlier every year? By April, I seem to be always transitioning away from drinking big stouts. On top of that, I've learned over time that I prefer to drink KBS fresh.

Anyone know if FFF Rue D'Floyd, Molten Mirrors and Sicario Pina are hitting or is a certain shop rum running?
