Three Floyds Releases

I picked up a bottle of Rue today. Can't wait to try it.

 

Just had from bottle a day after having on tap..

The bottle is just as perfect if not better than draft. It lost nothing in the bottle format.

It's a real treat to have a 4 bottle limit and somewhat easily accessible acquisition of the beer

 

I had Sicario Pina tonight too. Its not a joke Muscatel barrel reject like many thought. One of the best beers I've had that incorporates pineapple.

Pours a redish orange.. smell I can't describe. Taste is fresh natural pineapple upon initial touch then a cornucopia of odd yet effective flavors. I don't know what to say about it aside from this along with Molten Mirrors was a nice surprise leading up to the release of Rue

P.s. Floydivision 1 bottles are solid too

 

Grabbed my 4 Rue during a busy Friday lunch rush. On draft- so smooth, hits all the notes- bourbon creamy chocolate cherry porter with proper low carbonation. World class for sure, glad I could stock up even at the price. Is surely one of the best BA porters I've had. Official at 13%.

Molten mirrors also a very solid and very peachy sour.

 

Was too generous with selling these to friends at cost and then I opened one so that left me with one to trade.

I will say the trade offers have been nice so far though for those of you that trade

 

Enjoyed the peach also but was more surprised at the fact that Sicario was quite good and not a novelty POS

What's it called and did u try it? I'll be going by there on Monday.

 

On draft only? I just stopped in to get more Rue and it's not available from the kiosk

 

Just tried this...decent but not great. Good hazy color but a decent amount of bitterness...very drinkable.

On other notes, Rue is delicious and I took a note from earlier in the thread and had the steam buns...highly recommended!

 

Thanks. I'm looking fwd to trying both and the buns in Monday . I like some bitterness in my IPAs.

 

my inlaws live in lansing. so if you see a 70-year-old grandma walking out of the brewpub with a case of zombie dust over her shoulder for her son-in-law, try to unsee what you just saw and keep moving.

 

damn it. I'm going tonight and I hope I can get a bottle or two. Its still listed on their to-go page.

Hell yeah, jackpot. About to drop $120 on 4 bottles myself just to get some of that beercoin, baby! I can smell the NE hops already.
