OK...how about a curry stout? Wait... that's been done by Ballast Point. Actually would like to try that.

Then, to top that we need Szechwan Chicken Stout! Or maybe Moo Shu Porter?

Dogfish Head recently used Scrapple in a beer - not sure I would try that.

Wild Beer co. made a Tom Yum gose - no, just no

That stout was actually decent. You got all the smoke flavor, but it didn't taste like that gross liquid smoke you get in cheap smoked beers. Reminded me of a hogs head gruit I had from Earth Eagle.

Another awful beer was Magic Hat's HiCu, which was a cucumber hibiscus beer. That was one of my few drain pours. Ballast Points curry stout was another drain pour.

Was at my favorite bottle shop a few weeks ago . The owner was telling me about some new beers they got in . He mentioned the Stone Tangerine Express IPA . Thought he said Tangerine Espresso IPA . The funny part is I didn't think that was strange for Stone . Just passed on it because I don't like coffee .

Dogfish has obviously accomplished a lot in it's history that's worthy of respect, but man, they are incredible innovators in the field of dumb beer ideas.

Right Brain Brewing here in Michigan makes a Mangilitsa Pig Porter https://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/16503/72900/ which I have never had and won't if given the opportunity. (I think they bottle it on a limited basis.) The brewery also brews several others in the vegetable/fruit beer category that would probably turn my stomach if I had to drink them. Asparagus is one of them (Spear Beer). I hope no one has dreamed up brussels sprouts yet. <gag, gag, hack>

I actually, literally, saw tallboy cans in a store on Thursday. I didn't buy, but as soon as I saw those posts I thought of this beer.

I was dubious, too, but it's actually pretty good. You can't taste the scrapple. It tastes like a slightly spicy coffee stout with a hint of smokiness.
