I agree with above, its kind of a hybrid, similar to Heady Topper. Its a nice beer and would be a welcome addition to any tap list near me, but its not anything to go out of your way for.

Thanks, I appreciate it. Ill probably get a flight of their IPAs to see what crowler I want. Currently they have falcon smash and double FS in addition to RRR and SV. Hopefully they add some for this upcoming weekend.

Pretty sure they only crowler at the Downtown location. And Downtown and Fulton usually have slightly different taplists. Just keep on an eye on their website and they do a good job of updating daily what they have available on draft at each location.

Thats good to know about the crowlers, thanks. Im staying downtown but will mainly be on the opposite side of town (fan and scotts addition) from Fulton so I was planning on going to downtown location. Thanks

That was my thought. I feel like they have a great system for release day at Fulton, splitting the leftover cans between the two locations on Saturday. Like anywhere they'd probably prefer a faster sellout though so I get it. I was out of town for the weekend but figured I'd be safe to grab at least one of them Sunday afternoon but I was wrong this time.

I haven't been following the timing of the releases closely, anyone know the likelihood of a DIPA release on 3/24 (two weeks after RRR and Surprise Valley)?

Does the Fulton location do crowlers or only 64 oz fills. Will be in town on the 24th trying to go the collaboration release at the Fulton location but would like to take some crowlers home as well.

Not sure if anything has changed recently but as of a few weeks ago when I last saw a post asking, Fulton does not do Crowlers yet. Only the Downtown/Foushee location does. Both locations are only about 3 miles (10-15 min drive) from one another if you really wanted Crowlers. Just keep in mind since the release is on Friday that the Foushee location likely will not have draft or cans of the collab. until Saturday to help drive people to Fulton instead. I could be wrong but I think that is how they typically do it. And they probable won't do Crowlers until cans sell out. I'm really not certain if they do growler fills or not since I usually snag cans or Crowlers to go. Just keep an eye on their fb page.

Also how likely is it that there will be Falcon Smash cans on Saturday? I won't get in until Saturday afternoon and was hoping to get a couple 4 packs.

Falcon Smash will be canned this Friday 3/17 and released in Fulton at noon. $13 per 4 pack and a 2 case limit. We are looking to can 125 cases and cans will be available downtown on Saturday if supplies last.

More than likely the Falcon Smash should be around for Saturday as it's a previous release and generally lasts, but as last week proved, nothing is guaranteed.

Also the collab release mentioned for March 24th is a collaboration between Stone and Triple Crossing called Fulton Rising with proceeds set to go to the Neighborhood Resource Center.

It's their collab with Stone releasing on the 24th at Fulton.

"We're releasing our collab DIPA, Fulton Rising, with Stone Brewing Richmond next Friday (Fulton location). This DIPA showcases Columbus, Mosaic and Falconer's Flight hops as well as a predominately German Pils malt bill.

We'll have cans and draft available. A percentage of proceeds from all beer sales will go to benefit the Fulton Neighborhood Resource Center."

If they don't sell out of cans on Friday then they will probably move 1/2 of what's left to Foushee for sale starting at opening Saturday.

With Falcon Smash being one of their flagships I would expect it to last a week even with a 2 case limit on a 125 case estimated production. But if it does sell out by the time you get into town then you can grab a Crowler of it from Foushee.

I was hoping for a Lockout series release since they were doing about 1 every 6 weeks. I'm sure the collab will be fine but since I was actually gonna be around for a Friday release was pulling for at least a Nectar and Knife return or something on the 24th.

Next Friday 3/24 we will be releasing two new beers in Fulton.

Stone Brewing Richmond collaboration brewed at Triple Crossing - Fulton Rising DIPA. At this point the beer is tasting like a very soft Mosaic creamsicle. This DIPA showcases Columbus, Mosaic and Falconer's Flight hops as well as a predominately German Pils malt bill. Proceeds will benefit the Fulton Neighborhood Resource Center.

Waxing Poetic Berliner Weisse with Mango and Grapefruit will also make its debut. We are brining back our beloved Berliner next Friday. The PH on this one is right in line with the last batch and it was just transferred over to the fermenter. Fruit will be introduced into the beer very shortly.

Per post on the TCB fb page today, Aslin is down working on a collab. No details but I have a hunch it may be an IPA/DIPA.

Looks like I may have been confused. The collab is being brewed at Aslin not TCB.

    Damn.

In all fairness, their posts on it are kind of vague about where they are at.

Does anyone have a bead on how often they brew Paranoid Aledroid? I had one on draft last week and really enjoyed it. I'm not sure if its a staple or a one-time thing, but I would love to drink that regularly.
