Between the round 1 allocation and wishlist, and now the second round, RS could buy nearly two cases of CR. That's a lot of beer ... Just how much weekday beer did the Bruery produce.

I mean it is going public, so I would thin a lot.

It is a play on a pineapple upside down cake.

And the Terreux version is still coming out late this year.

After the first time I had to dig through about 12 different boxes of Bruery beer to find a particular bottle I was looking for, I programmed an app for my phone to let me enter and track where all my 100+ bottles are stored (don't have an exact count yet cause I haven't entered them all, but apparently I have ~50 bottles of BT/CR/GM/MW alone).

So yeah, I have a problem too.

No, you have a solution. And a good one. Plenty of fantastic beer is never a problem.

I still think BA Golden Rings tastes exactly like bourbon soaked pineapple upside down cake. That beer is incredible and I don't even like pineapple.

100% agreed. That beer was so tasty. I wonder how it's held up.

I didn't have the barrel version fresh, but I got one at the Christmas sale and it was super tasty. Super smooth and mellow. Perfect balance of pineapple, spices, and bourbon. (I loved the regular 5GR when it was new and thought it did well cellared a couple years, but I think it's peaked - still very tasty but not as good as it was).

I tried the new Mischief on tap in a bar last night. It's changed a lot! Lots of citrusy hops and the Belgianyness has either been toned down or overshadowed - almost more like an IPA now. I like it more than the old, but I wouldn't doubt someone who felt the opposite. Retirement of White Oak a little easier to swallow with this context since I think White Oak would have been weird with this more pronounced hopping.

I just checked my allocations (RS), and we can buy up to 16. Not sure if that's a typo on the site.

Did you buy 2 during last week's allocation? I think (whether on purpose or not) that today's new addition was added to, rather than replacing, last week's.

A little late to the party on this, but I live on the east coast and it often takes me a long time to get my beers

Vindictive -- Holy shit! This is, without a doubt, the best of the wine/beer combo that the Bruery, or rthe ally any other brewery, has ever put together. It's clear that this grape combo would have made a stupendous wine and the oak really comes through clearly too. Absolutely delicious!

PB & Thursday -- People said that this didn't have much peanut prescence. Frankly, I wouldn't have wanted any more. This was a fantastic success and I really enjoyed it.

I did buy 2, that makes sense. Maybe I should just top it off with 16 more. Really though, for those who don't share an account why would you need almost two cases of CR?? At the increased allocations, especially for weekday beers, the Bruery is begging us to share memberships.

I'm curious... Can anyone actually afford 2 whole cases of Chocolate Rain? That's 24 x 39.99 = $959.76 before society discount. Yikes!!!!

Wow, you have ummm, different tastes? I haven't heard a single person say Vindicitve was better than any of the previous wineification releases. IMO 3 was so freaking good it would have been hard to top.

As for PB & Thursday, considering your name is a reference to Peanut Butter, I'm surprised you would say that. It had basically zero PB flavor, especially considering the PB&J cask tasted like a bomb PB&J sandwich. Tons of PB and Boysenberry flavor throughout.

I opened bottles of each of those over the last couple days and I think I echo @pnutbutr's thoughts, though I can understand not everyone agreeing. I only had wineification III to compare to, but Vindictive is such a totally different style (wayyyy more aggressive on the wine) that it's not so much about which beer is "better" but rather which style you prefer.

PB&T had loads of PB on the nose and a well-balanced (but not overpowering) amount in the flavor, IMO. I never had PB&J to compare it to.

    This!

+ I'm looking forward to this year's zinfandel blend. That sounds like it has potential.

I currently have 205 Bruery beers in my basement with another 55 awaiting shipment in CA (there are also another 60 bombers, cans, and bottles from MT, Stone, DFH, Shmaltz, Other Half). I keep a spreadsheet of where each beer is (I have a large cabinet my wife got me for Christmas) and update it based on my drinking habits. I also keep up to date a count by variety, so I draw down by ST: Mole bottle count before I drink my last bottle of OT boysenberries. (Sue me, my parents are both accountants)

Tonight I took down a late model SHiT (OCT16). That was a reward based on being part of the national guard response to storm Stella back here and then spending 30 minutes digging my car out to drive home. That was great.

And yes I am still drawing down 2015 year beers, too. No shame in that.

And frankly I don't how the hell I could ever afford or drink 2 cases of any weekday beer. I have to plan one of those for a special occasion (GM16 on Super Bowl Sunday; BT16 on my birthday this weekend). There needs to be a big cardio workout prior to just to offset half the bottle, calorie wise.

let me rephrase that. I have almost two years worth of beer sitting out in shippers and other boxes. I have the yet to be drank beers from before that time sitting in two 42 cubic feet of chest freezer space and a fridge full of beer as well. My dance card is probably full for the next couple years if I stopped buying today. It probably helps that I'm single or this may be why I'm single. Kind of a chicken or egg thing.
