I think he was referring to the line for Wild Beer Roundup. Didn't look too bad before opening but I'm not sure how many people were there. The brewing space seemed a bit more crowded than last year.

The new bottle purchasing setup is perfect - basically a short line on the covered patio that snaked through several different 375ml offerings. Another well-run Wild Beer Roundup.

Another amazing event at Allagash. Thanks and kudos to all the staff.
There was a line of maybe 100-150 people when they opened at 8am. Not much need to have been there early (except the first few people in line were rewarded with a magnum of Hibernal Fluxus). If you arrived around 8:30 - 10 you could have walked right in and still had the full allotment available.
    The full offering was:
Pick Your Own (6 Bottle Limit)
    Little Sal (3 Bottle Limit)
    (1 bottle each of below)
    Cuvée D’Industrial
    2014 Resurgam
    2015 Resurgam
    Midnight Brett
    Monmouth Red
    2015 Farm to Face
    2016 Farm to Face
    Hive 56
    FV13

I think it was underappreciated that this was the 2017 release of the new Little Sal. They still had some of the bottles available today- from tweets it looks like they opened today with leftover Little Sal, but that's apparently gone if I interpret the latest tweet correctly.
Coffee, donuts, pours of Resurgam '16, Pick Your Own and Little Sal. Games with prizes of t-shirts, mugs, bottle openers, frisbees, etc..
These guys really treat their customers well.

I agree with everything pehodges said. Great brewery, great event.

I'll just add that they also had 2016 Resurgam bottles available and that the Monmouth Red ran out pretty quickly. I believe it was within the first 100 people in line.

I'm a huge fan of Evora. No fruit, but a damn good beer IMO. Loved the first batch (or two?) on draft. Only bottled once. I have a few aging to see what happens.

Probably a long shot, but anyone seen any lingering Farm to Face bottles in Boston area stores?

I may have seen some at Marty's Newton a few weeks ago for the rock bottom price of $18? At least I think that's where it was.

Marty's Newton is the highest priced bottle shop in town - I kindly informed one of the suits of this factoid one day when I was there browsing only and he sound surprised and asked "which beer?", and suggested they routinely do price checks and consider themselves competitive...not to get off topic...

The largest collection of dusty stock too.

So for more experienced Allagash release people, can you get in line again after you buy your first set of bottles or is it one time through the line per day?

    Don't be that guy...

At 1 pp, I imagine both are single barrel batches. I think there will be quite a line and these won't last long.

They stated on instagram that there are about 470 bottles of each.

How quickly do you expect this to sell out?

I think their rule has always been 1 purchase per day

Didnt see that. I just assumed it was going to be similar amounts to the first Lil Sal release given the hardcore limit.

...470 bottles of each...what are we talking about?? This thread looks like it skipped from February to March. But I just saw something in a different forum about some new Coolship variants - is the 470 bottles referring to them. I guess I'm ISO if that's the case...!

Regarding going back through line - I think regardless of wherever, whenever and whatever - my understanding it that this is generally disparaged.

To clarify: Coolship La Mure (blackberries) and Coolship Clermont (bourbon barrel) are being released this Saturday

Dang, BAs...recently been lucky enough to get my hands on a few bottles from Russian River, Jester King and Urban Family and I have to say - while all were great beers it certainly made me realize how incredible Allagash is and how lucky we are to be either close enough to visit or to be within their distro. Feelin' the love and getting mushy on you all. Cheers to anyone who snags a handful of bottles this weekend. Worth the drive, worth the wait.
