Came in a god damn 15 pack. I regretted my purchase completely after 2. Still got 5 after choking some down and pawning them off to the neighbs. I think this SLO beer may even be worse though.

 

#008. They jumped on the haze craze with this one. Can't see through the super thick hazy liquid. Not as tropical more of a citrusy aroma and flavor with tropics in the background. Has white grape note to it also. Tasty- doesn't drink as heavy as it looks.

 

Love them. One of my frequented stores has 6 pack mix of all their DIPAS. 21 bucks but I think I'll grab another.

Ha! It's a tribute to my grandfather. It's his old 1967 Guild 12 string acoustic he used to always play . My uncle owns it now, along with a slew of his collection. It was a lot of fun growing up in such a musical family.

What's the SLO beer?

 

I'll show you soon. Maybe. SLO Brewing Session IPA. The LNBA had the pleasure of enjoying my first from last night. Hippies still can't get over the damn 420 thing, even going as far as making it the "best by" date. Total butter bomb.

Edit:. SLO stands for San Luis Obispo. Town well known for its "culture" (hippies ).

Back to Swedish craft beer. 4.6% abv and 70IBUs, and plenty of American hops. I've long felt that this is the ideal pale ale: it's well attenuated, clean, strongly bitter, very hop aromatic, yet with a moderate abv and with a reasonable body for it's abv. Afaik it's 100% pilsner malt, so no caramel malt.

 

They're alright. But they suck at making beer. Unless they're Portland, Oregon hippies. They're great at making beer!
