I was going to say something like "beer can be anything you want so long as it's an IPA" but I think you got it covered there.

(Disregards any complaints posted to this thread.)

    These both look great!
Line will be crazy or maybe tempered by the fact that it was announced day of?

Pretty sure people are already in line based upon a few IG comments.

Ironically their 5 out of 5 "highly rated" stout seems to be anything but that based on the ratings/reviews on here...hopefully this version will be much better than what I read

Yeah, I mean I figured it would generally be rough. I went up for the coconut one and did well but I wasn't sure if the day of announcement would significantly cut down the line

with the low limits if they have a lot you may be able to roll over at 7 and get some.. they released the per person #'s but not the case counts so who knows though

Yeah, I saw that. I'd be coming from DC. I'm gonna try and leave work early at 1 and hopefully be there around 3:30 or 4.

All I can picture is a race to Tired Hands in the fashion of It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World.

Am I the only one that thinks both of these sound pretty gross?

Judging the untappd reviews, the stout sounds risky.

I had the shake on tap at the cafe. It was fantastic imo.

I had it back in the day at the Brew Cafe. I was not a big fan of it.
FWIW, this was back in the time where they seemed to struggle with higher abv beers (especially stouts) being too sweet and lacking body. Their stouts have been much improved since the Ferm opened, in my opinion. This version of 5/5 has a slightly higher abv than it's previous version.
