You can email the DarkLordDay email on the site to ask, but I'm pretty sure they were ok with this last year as long as your friend was with you in line at the festival gate entrance.

As opposed to the BS where people are buying multiple tickets? You might want to have read the rules at darklordday.com before purchasing tickets today.

2008 was the last year without any tickets whatsoever.

2010 was the last year before fencing off property.

2012 was the last year tickets were transferrable.

 

2017 was the last year the ticket site crashed...

 

Any word on variants? i just saw an ISO: PVW Vanilla DL on a facebook group

 

I think it'll be fine. It says max 2 tickets person. It doesn't saying about having to be the same group.

 

Seems shady, I could have done this and gotten 2 allotments...

 

You can do it the same way if you have 2 tickets of the same group. You just go through the line twice.

It's one thing when it's some idiot line jumping.. Last year FFF was encouraging it. I think C was the last group that got in "on time". D and E were both allowed in before C's reservation window was over

 

Some how I was able to scoop up a group D ticket a couple mins ago. Got a confirmation number and everything!

 

Just heard back from the event planners. Looks like I will be doing the NOT shady thing by bringing my buddy to his first DLD where we will enjoy the worst weather possible, the bottle share, the face-melting sets from a few bands, and collect our allotments separately. He'll have to wake up at the ass-crack of dawn to get in line with me, but it'll be worth it.

Don't exactly get why you needed to insult me, but we've had to deal with faulty queues and frozen servers for the last few years. Having the release time randomized more could help alleviate some of that problem since fewer people will be able to purchase tickets at that given time.

 

After timing out and refreshing forever, I got 2 C tix around 1:00. For fun I tried again about 15 minutes ago and and got 1 more C. I bought it in my wife's name/cc and put the tickets in a buddy's name. And it told me group E at 12:15 was best available.... Lol

Finally got in around 12:10 (CT) and best available was group 2. Happy to go for another year, but I'll probably right on ththe edge of those who don't get a variant.
