Group 2? You mean B? Group B will safely get a variant, I honestly wouldn't worry unless I was in Group E.

 

Decided to go big or stay home and only shoot for group A. Struck out with online tickets but hopefully they do local ticket sales at the brewpub again this year. Also for those who are okay with group D and E, I am still having some luck getting those tickets in a cart so its still not too late!

 

So happy to get tickets and selected group. In the other selection box, did most of you select Handjee for the variant reservation or best available?

Did you only want group A? I got through over a dozen times but none were A so I passed...sometimes it keeps popping up still.

 

I feel like this is more like one of those signs telling you how long it's been since the last workplace accident.

 

Has anyone ever had the queue actually work?

Either the tickets pop right away or the queue just eventually times out for me.

 

Same for me. Had tickets in my cart from B, C, D and E multiple times and at least a half hour after sales began but couldn't get any A's.

 

I got mine through the queue. I had 3 running, two kicked me back to the add tickets screen for some reason, and my tickets popped up before I could get back in the queue on the others.

 

Never been to DLD. What's the significance of group A?

SIAP--anyone ever stay in the Comfort Inn in Hammond? My biggest question is whether we'll be able to get an Uber or taxi from there to FFF (first time in the area)--I would think it wouldn't be a problem (considering it's only ~6 miles). TIA!

Yeah the queue worked for me. Had 2 phones and my laptop all going. One opened for B and one for C after like 10 minutes.

 

I did my indignant, dig in my heels, A group or bust bullshit this morning. Then I got scared, because I have a vegas trip planned in april and you just fucking KNOW they're going to sell them that weekend. at 2:03pm I got a C ticket into my cart and said fuck it. Regular BADL or Muerte should still be available, fingers crossed.

 

Everyone is assuming the "tried and true" first come first serve for variants will be the case this year, but perhaps 3Floyds will mess with everybody and save variants for Group E. Seems like something they might do just to be "Not Normal".

 

Group B again, no complaints me and my plus one both got a FVM last year, bring on the line share!!!!!!

 

No one is assuming. As I posted above, the FAQ literally says FCFS variants and after they run out, vintage DL will be offered instead.
