Nope.. you apparently cannot read sarcasm though? Maybe in California you call the sink "drain" something more eloquent?

I think I have a super power. A month or so ago I drank a Sucre from my cellar and the next week found a bottle on sale at Whole Foods.

Friday night I had a Cuivre from my cellar, which by the way was superb and still my favorite Anniversary release. Today I went to a different Whole Foods and they had four bottles of Cuivre!

So if course the big question is... What do I drink next?

For anyone interested, those Cuivre bottles are in San Francisco at the Protrero Hill store. Original MSRP.

Don Q. Contact me first when you find it at a Whole Foods afterwards.

I cracked two M15 in mid-February and both were bad. I mailed the society with batch code, no photo, and they said they'd start the refund process. Got my CC statement last week and no credit :slight_frown:
Emailed society a few days ago asking about timeline and no response yet.

BT Reserve, clearly! (and hello from a fellow SF member!)

Random tasting anecdote - was at a wine bar last night with some friends and did a tasting flight that included a GSM (Grenache, Syrah, Mourvedre blend) from Livermore (East Bay area) and while I hadn't been thinking of beer beforehand, the GSM grapes are the same ones used in Vindictive and the flavor of the wine instantly recalled the taste of Vindictive to me. Was pretty cool to see the similarities and I kinda want to crack another Vindictive now to compare to the wine.

I know that beer wasn't for everyone but man, I really love it.

When you're drinking high abv beers, it's easy not to notice. But that shit went into effect days after the whole price increase debate on here. It was still 5 oz when I had the price hike but later it switched to this. So might as well buy a bottle at this point

Yea. It was $8.50 after discount for a FULL pourof choco rain. Not worth it.

Ouch especially considering it was what $7 for 5oz? $4 for 1.5 oz wooo. Glad i mainly buy BA beers in bottles than at tasting rooms.

Coincidentally just got this email a minute ago:

"First and foremost thanks for your patience with this, genuinely sorry about the delay! Its an absolute madhouse here with 2016 Society deadline pickups taking place.

Because those bottles were purchased on the old TBS site your refund is taking the form of a check. I’m looking into the status of that check, but worst case scenario we’ll have another round being processed this week."

It def looks the same size pours as before. So either they poured us more before and we got a deal, or we got what we payed for

Couple of nights ago I opened the third bottle of SHIT that I have from the infected batch and I still think it's fine. There is a little bit of ethanol and vanilla tang in the middle. But the barrel notes are there and it finishes a little bit smoky sweet. Pretty much like the first bottle I opened late in '15.

I've heard reports of it tasting like tart of darkness. But maybe I got lucky. This is definately not that sour.

All five were purchased at a local bottle shop. I've got one more to go. Plus I'm waiting for a review from a friend who I gifted one to back in October. He said he was going to open it this weekend.

I am really missing the updates made to the original post that state what beers have been released so far throughout the year during each allocation period like in 2016.
