Bottle Logic Brewing Thread - Winter 2016/2017

Visited earlier. In & out quickly. FF was pretty good, 4.0 which ain't bad. I feel as though they imperialized the beer but not the vanilla. It no longer has the balance that makes FO so divine.

 

For what it's worth I thought FF was excellent. More complex than FO. A lot of oak in the finish, still a vanilla bomb but more balanced, sweet but not cloying. Some alcohol sweetness but I didn't find it to be hot for a BBA beer (let alone one that's 16%) Not saying it's the greatest beer ever but it's delicious.

 

As of 9:50 pm forces is still flowing, no line.

 

Just had FF and it's pretty damn decent for the abv. AND being off tap. I've had most of their BA brews both off tap and out the bottle and I've found that the bottle always easily surpasses. After some time in the bottle, can't wait to see how it tastes.

 

This was pretty much exactly how felt about FF. When it warms up, you can taste that 16% abv. Up UP was quite refreshing after having FF. If I had won a bottle, it'd go straight to my cellar.

 

Just left and before exiting some moron dropped their bottle of FF. I've never seen so many cats run out to lick up all the shit off the ground in my entire life. Today was a good day.

 

What a shame, I could of swore I saw somebody mention another person did so as well. Cant remember what possible social media.

Had a good time today. Got 5 pours of Forces, some good pizza, and had a great time with friends. Glad people who waited until later in the day were still able to get some.

 

Yeah well, I saw some guys knock over the fencing by the exit. One of the guys leaning on it, clearly should have known that the fence could not supports his mass.

I'm always surprised at the quality of women these neck beards pull. They must be drunk 24/7 or dude had black mail material on her. Or maybe he has a great personality...

I like the theme for WOL. Reminds of the book "Ready Player 1". Great book. Read it a few times, never while drinking stasis project brews, but I'm sure it would enhance the experience.

Personally wasn't crazy about FF, Don't get me wrong it was pretty dang good, it was just way too sweet for my tastes. We cracked on a B2 FO last night afterwards and everyone of us preferred it over FF, but I can understand why people might think its the best thing ever, but after two pours I started getting a sugar rush induced headache. Will say that the event was run a lot better than last year especially considering the big uptick in visitors.

 

Yeah was starting to think the same thing. Maybe go a bit later and wait less perhaps. Either way though had a blast chatting to people in line and the event itself was setup pretty well. Lines weren't too bad for pours and the flow was great. See everyone later today!

 

Got in and out very easily last night and multiple pours of FF. Excellent marshmallow boozy goodness, not its not unicorn tears, but nothing is really.
