I think I need to create an FAQ to answer all the questions that get asked over and over every couple pages on this thread (and every year). Even though the darklordday.com website has a FAQ that no-one reads.

And Biggs' Stache, and Tiberian Inquisitor, and a couple of batches of BA Klaus...

As I recall, Big Fredia didn't perform last year because s/he was going into rehab, got in trouble with the law, went to a halfway house, might be going to prison (ultimately didn't)...

    All in all bad timing.

    Maybe this year? Who knows.

How about Big Fredia singing backup vocals on stage with Goatwhore? That'd be...... unique.....

Put me in the list of people who enjoyed Biggs' Stache and Tiberian Inquisitor. However, BA Alpha Klaus with orange peel is one of the worst beers I have ever had.

Do imaginary friends need a ticket to enter? If not, are they guaranteed a hypothetical variant? If my imaginary friend has group A and I have group C can we enter together? I hope so, he has great whalez to share!

I'm thinking the answer to this is enter A like normal with both of you, then exit, hide tickets and reenter getting your C.

You wouldn't even need to exit. You could literally put on a new lanyard. It's not like anyone will know.

My reason on exiting is I don't know if they will give you the guests ticket without them present.

No, but at least one of you for one of those groups should have a neckbrace.

My friends and I completed the full Group alphabet :slight_frown:
How much time do you really spend in the lines collecting allotments? (Should I expect that we won't be spending much time together?)

So here's a constructive topic: pre Dark Lord bottle shares, who's interested and which hotel? Are there any setup already?

Depends. Last year blew through the line in record time. Other years, up to 2-3 hours not uncommon.

Hard to say cuz it depends on if they actually adhere to those allotment windows this year, they didn't last. Also depends on how much your group cares about being at the front of the line for their particular session.

Realistically, you'll be fine to hang as a group. And there's nothing stopping you guys from hanging out together in the line to share. Just only one of you can go through at a time.

Yeah that is a great guide every newcomer should read. The most annoying questions IMO are those related to tickets and guests. It really seems to confuse people for some reason. I think it is usually the term "ticket holder" that gets people. They think since they bought 2 tickets, they are the "ticket holder" for both tickets. When it really just means, hand a damn ticket to your guest, now they are "holding" the ticket and they are a ticket holder.

If you bought your tickets at the brewpub, you need to pick them up from the Ticket Resolution tent at the North entrance to the event. Otherwise you get em in the mail.

They gave you vouchers when you entered last year so that might be what you're thinking.

Don't worry they resolved the awkward issue with the vouchers and rain from last year, this year they will just hand you a pile of oatmeal consistency, paper porridge when you walk in.
