Omg. ..what a beautiful and delicious Flanders Brown. What say you all? If you haven't tried it yet and DO have a bottle. Get your corkscrew ready. The cork is a real corker.

If I was still in Colorado I'd be all over it.

New Belgium La Folie side by side with this. A very interesting match up I reckon. Prost

Mine was the first review with only 2 other ratings. I reckon it must have limited distribution? Oh well, I'm counting myself lucky.

13th door was a really nice beer that got zero hype. I get the impression grimm brothers is the beer guy's brewery.

    They just may be!
I still haven't had a single dud from those guys. Really cool taproom with a nice selection of non-flagships to compliment their delicious flagships (known commodities).

I just don't think the 'craft beer movement' has properly embraced lager styles to the point where they should be just yet. Seems the delicate subtleties that I get pumped about with lagers are lost on so many others looking for juicy hops and assertive barrel character.

They are doing a good job but they aren't tracking at all with the "beer hype" of the rapidly changing landscape. No one talks about them. Frankly, I think they need to move downtown near the other breweries, but they do have a pretty nice space out in the industrial park.

I guess it depends how big they want to get, and what their goals are. But I'd say they haven't grown much in the last couple years.

I'm a huge fan. They're in a pretty inconspicuous spot, but I've never seen them dead, either. They might just be in the position where they want to be. No need for bigger loans, more equipment, different space, etc.

I'm hoping to hit them up for the first time in a while next week. Hopefully they still have some of this.
