    I watched, while finishing on the trainer, prior to cracking a Citra. It was a pretty badazz morning.

    Did anybody else get multiple cans without labels for this release? I know I got four blank cans and not in the same four pack either. Funny that they were all from the Green down to the Socks batch.

    @Kanger, do you guys still use Iron Heart for your canning?

    Yes we still use Iron Heart, our canning line is still in the box waiting to be set up. As for the labels, we had some issues with the labeling machine last week. A few cans went through the labeler without getting labeled. We try to catch them but due the volume of cans, it's hard to get them all.

    both green down to the socks and daydream in green are crazy unique and delicious, both have really distinct flavors

    Yup personally don't love Daydream, but GDttS is fantastic. I regret only getting 1 4 pack. Wont let that happen again.

    Flew in Saturday morning and went straight to the can release. The bartenders, people in line, and people hanging out in the tap room were all very friendly and made for a great experience. I had Citra, Mylar, and DDH Simcoe and brought a bunch of goodies back to Chicago.

    After the race on Sunday, I went to Haymaker, Fool's Gold, and The Blind Tiger where I delighted in OH and Grimm brews. Equilibrium's Vulgar Display of Power was a standout. Manhattan and Brooklyn have an amazing beer scene and I can't wait to come back. The notion that NYC is a "Cocktail town" is definitely an outdated one

    Crazy how like 5-6 years ago the beer destinations in NYC were basically Brooklyn Brewery and around 5-6 go to bars

    I'm very likely heading to the brewery tap room this Saturday. I'm sure I'll be able to try some delicious fresh IPAs, but I'm wondering whether anyone here thinks there's a good chance Heavy Boots of Lead, and maybe even the barrel aged Heavy Boots of Led will be on tap? It doesn't exactly seem clear from the website what's on tap right now.

    I was pretty amazed by DDH Small Green Everything.....best session IPA I can really remember. Has it been canned before, or does anyone know if it will be?

    Don't sleep on the cocktails though. There are some seriously amazing cocktail bars in the city and BK. Only problem is that those drinks usually go for an arm and a leg.

    But yeah NYC is almost like a beer Mecca in its own right now with its combo of great breweries and insane distro. Glad you got to take advantage
