I have my Legio Gemina from last year still. I think it's the same as Temeculan without the spices.
    Has anyone tried LG here?

I would like to see a maple/bourbon barrel aged dark lord. Regular DL is a little too roasty and bitter, could use some more sweetness.

Considering no one has bothered to type a review of LG, I too would love to hear some opinions on it.

I tried it about a month after dark lord day last year. I loved it. Pretty sweet, but I like the sweet beers. Almost like a candied cherry flavor sweetness to it on top of the base dark lord. At least that's what I remember.

I liked Quit Hitting Yourself quite a bit. Nowhere near as good as the big ones at the share we had (FVM, HJ) but better than some of the other variants.

Is there a DLD trade google doc setup for this year (similar to last year's)?

I have a group A ticket, so the window is 9 AM-11AM. The closest shuttle to my apartment in Chicago leaves at 8AM, meaning the earliest I would get to the festival line would be 845-9.
I also have a Group C ticket in my name for my friend. Will the lines be so bad at this time that I'd end up going in with Group B?

What Variants were left for late group A or early group B last year?
I was a middle Group C and got Muerte in 2016

I took that bus last year and made it in at the end of group A. I was able to get a Handjee.

I was group B last year. I got Ronaldo and BA Derklerd. Lines were pretty slow the past couple years. If you show up at 9, I bet you will get into the festival around 10:30.

I contacted BusBank who organizes Jak's Tap shuttle bus to DLD. Asked if there would be an earlier option than an 8am shuttle as the event is an hour earlier this year. They're firm with 8am being the earliest time. I have not been able to find another shuttle that's leaving any earlier. This only concerns me because a few people going with our group are in A. Anyone have any other insights on what shuttles might be leaving earlier?

You could take an Uber out there. More expensive, but I believe some others said that if you get 3-4 people, the cost is not that much more.

My friend and will be taking an Uber and plan to leave the city around 7.30 am. We're looking for 2 more (and more people to share with), so if you're interested in splitting a ride, shoot me a pm.

    It's about $50 one way.

Appreciate the offer. I totally would, but I have 5 others going with. Might try Uber XL if I can't find an earlier shuttle.

For those who are in Group A and taking the 8:00 AM shuttle from Jaks Tap. I did that last year and lined up at the North Gate (in line for an hour, so I got in at 10:00 am) and they had plenty of MJ variants. All 4 people in my group got a bottle, so I would not be concerned about that. An hour in line also provided plenty of time to curse the beer gods for the shitty weather and bottle share.
