Notable Releases - DC/NOVA/MD

Has anybody been on DCBeer.com and looked at all the CBC events. I might as well have my next 2-3 pay checks deposited right into NRG's bank accounts. I don't know how I'll be able to stay away from all their events when they have so many heavy hitters coming into town.

 

Yes, this is a sad but true reality. However, I think the Pint & Smoke restaurants could give them a nice run for their money just like Savor week. Jace posted an early look at their events which look pretty awesome. Most of them aren't on DCBeer yet.

Also just noticed the Funky Buddha/CC event at Lost n Found on DC Beer. Epic.

 

Wegmans in Fairfax has Adroit Theory's EBK for $10.50/bomber, I haven't had it and that seems expensive but I've seen a lot of people saying that its something to look out for. There were only 3 on the shelf but beers tend to stick around that store. They did not have any Ruse out.

 

That is totally worth getting. It is a really nice NE IPA.

 

Ya oddly YES Market didn't seem to get this round. Hopefully the next one shows up.

 

I think that I paid $12 or $13 for it at Downtown Crown. It was worth it at that price.

 

Has anyone seen any cans of DDH Softly Spoken Magic Spells around? It sounds like DC got a few kegs, but I haven't heard anything about cans.

 

Pretty sure we aren't getting cans of that.

Do we get distro for some of 4 hands other beers (other than Madagascar)? Want to try their Gingerbread, absence of light and s'mores beers.

 

I've definitely seen Absence of Light several times. Beer menus has it at Yes Cleveland Park, but that was months ago. Maybe worth calling them though.

 

Anyone see tilquin squared around? I know its not a can of some overhyped IPA, but inquiring minds want to know.
