    Let's see .....

    Oskar Blues
    Surly
    Alchemist
    Trillium
    Tree House
    Pipeworks
    Revolution
    Sun King
    Deep Ellum
    Karbach

That's just off the top of my head breweries that are canning most, if not all, of their lineup. Yeah, you're missing out.

    A lot.

Does that mean the new cans will give the consumer accurate information about where the beer was brewed and canned like other contract brewers and alternating proprietorships? I believe in the past a reason for not having that info was the cost of printing new cans.

Which is why the beer gods invented the beer trade.

I steer away from canned beers to almost never buying them. There are many times when the last beer of the day is not finished. With a bottle capper I can recap it and keep it in reasonable shape until the next day. W cans that's not happenin' unless I am missing something

Cans are easy to transport, compact in size and easy to dispose of and once poured into a glass I cannot tell the difference from being poured from a bottle. Many of the pale ales and milder IPA's out there in cans sip just fine from the can, as well as any of the Gose flavors from Anderson Valley, imho. Stouts and many other styles need pouring into that cup to breathe allowing some of that flavor into my nose.

Cans are less money given the same beer in glass......SN is around $2 less a 12 pack cans.....Bells brown is around $3-4 more for a case of 16oz cans vs 12oz bottles.

I like a bottles more , in my mind the beer is more crisp, bottles dont have and plastics leaching into your beer.

I buy more cans than bottles......PBR cans are less than bottles and thats my go to for a while.....

Cans look cooler in my mind and if transporting beer cans win every time, two cases of cans will fit into the space of one case of glass.

I wish all cans were recycled as the process of pulling aluminum from the ground is really bad for the earth. A can can be recycled endless times.

    Enjoy

Although they don't can 'em all, Modern Times, Anderson Valley and even (God forbid) Ballast Point must sell a shitload of cans. I know I'm holding up my end :sunglasses:

I think years ago the material used in cans over time would leave an after taste. I hated canned beer and only drank bottled beer. I feel the cans are made better now and we have become "beer snobs" as well so we check dates and drink fresher beers. Either that or I'm drinking my beer much quicker now , I see no difference now between canned or bottled. Perception is always 50/50 anyway.

All the local breweries around me are starting to can. The breweries that are just starting to distribute are also starting with cans. Trillium pretty much switched to canning other than their "special series." I enjoy the 4pack of tall boys. But I also love sipping on some Lagunitas

For what you seek out in beer. Cans are a superior vessel. Fifteen years is a long time to hold a grudge. A lot has changed. They're smaller. More compact. Lighter. Easier do the leisure thing with.
Bottles are nice. But they break, and they are heavy.

Because they are OK with stainless steel but not OK with plastic (BPA) lined aluminum?

There are a lot of comical things going on in this thread. The best one is the continuous reference to Oskar Blues being a good beer brand.
