Chicago area Darkness Day meet up

    Hey I know it's over a month away but I just can't wait! I wanted to start a thread to see if any BA's from the Chicagoland area want to meet up/see who's going to Darkness Day. We can arrange car pools and trades through one thread as well.

    What time is everyone getting there? We are leaving Friday morning from Chicago and getting in line as soon as we can I guess. Might hit New Glarus on the trip down depending on what time they open Fridays.

    We are bringing a pop up canopy, maybe a tent, definitely table, chairs, grill and a ton of beer. Everyone is welcome to come hang out in line

    Leaving Chicagoland at 930 AM ish, driving straight through to Town Hall, quick stop at Zipps, and then on to Surly. Hoping to be in line around 530 or so.

    Yes

    I enjoy hanging out in lines at release events drinking with friends and other folks more than I like drinking limited taps at the local spots (read Stubs and Herbs). I'm going to maximize my time hanging out in line, hopefully without looking anything like Backfat from last year.

    Would anyone be willing to pick up some beers from a trade partner for me while in the Twin Cities? I'm trying to save him the hassle of shipping multiple growlers.

    I'd be happy to give you a few beers for your efforts, and I can ship my end of the deal if it's too hard to meet up before Friday.
