    Wow!! Lucky you!!

I was at the Sly Fox Brewpub a number of Saturdays ago and the bartender (JP) informed me that the last keg of Tettnang Keller Pils was on tap. All I drank that night was this beer and while I typically wait until I leave to get my growlers filled I got my growler filled early that evening; I did not want to take the chance that the keg would kick before I asked to get my growler filled.

I really wish this was a year round beer for Sly Fox but maybe they think it would cannibalize sales from Pikeland Pils?

    Cheers!

Any clue on when Mexican Apple Pie Milkshake DIPA will be released?

Most people seem to think this Sunday.

Why does anyone think it's a Milkshake?... There's no indication that it is (and a major indication that it's not: the label).

Someone posted their guess on Instagram and Tired Hands replied something about reading their mind.....

Oh, cool! My mistake then, sorry to be presumptuous. I was just thinking that guess was far-fetched based on the non-milkshake label.

Done, minus the darts and drawing

EDIT on topic, I am drinking a Trendler right now and while I do enjoy it, even completely disregarding price I far prefer Prima or Sam Adams Noble Pils to this. Maybe it's the softness of Citra but I get much less hop character than I do from the latter two. As an OH regular, I say . . Bring on the ddh :-)

Their Keller Pils is excellent too, brewed only a few times a year also.

I don't consider those others to be particularly high quality. Certainly not comparable to a fresh Prima. I don't have much interest in lesser versions of the best unless I'm buying/drinking on premise. If I can't get Prima, I'd rather just buy some Lord Chesterfield. Though that's also not fresh most of the time, its freshness is far less of a concern.

Back on topic, Humanimal Stasis reminds me of a bigger, slightly harsher version of Alien Church. I agree with the above sentiment that a lot of TH pales tend to run together, but AC has a pretty distinctive flavor, and that's what this reminds me of. Good beer, not quite as sweet as a lot of their doubles which is a nice change.

I definitely see that, especially with the bitterness aspect.

So it's a Mexican Apple Pie DIPA. No milkshake. Looks like it's already canned... So surprise weekend release?

    Most likely tomorrow.

And yes, I had another Humanimal Stasis last night, it's an excellent beer with way more dank flavors than other TH DIPAs.

    I disagree with that statement.

How is the line looking so far? Surprised they are doing 3 four packs a person and only 250 cases.... sounds like this might be a popular one

Sounds like basically a milkshake. I wonder if they didn't want to put the milkshake name on it since it was a collab with that other dude and they didn't want to kick more of the revenue to Omnipolo.

As someone who is visiting Philly this weekend and isn't really familiar with the line situation, what would be a good time to get in line for this release?

The earlier the better. 250 cases of a collab sounds like a sure fire shit show of a line.
