I still had x6 DDH Neutrino, opened one last night, even worse than before. I'm not trying to air laundry but I really would like to exchange the last 5 for something else, they are absolutely terrible, like almost ruined dinner and my glass of bourbon after because I could still feel the Bern.

Anyone have any luck on exchanges or insight?

Contacting them directly is the best bet, via Facebook or email.

If you can bring "good" stuff to swap, there's tons of people looking to trade Aslin IP in Arlington area. They don't trade for much between "locals" since we can all get the same stuff, but maybe poke around. I haven't gone to Aslin in a while otherwise I would try to help you out!

There are 180 allotments and most people are probably not getting a full allotment, they may sell out on Thursday but I kind of doubt it.

Lets hope so cause I'm not going to get out of work to stand in line early. I'll go and get them after work if I can, but I'm probably not going to strive hard for it.

Awesome, thanks for the reply! I didn't see too much in the trade section outside of wanting Tree House or Trillium, but I'll check again before I leave Friday morning so I know if I need to bring anything.

I'm not going this week but if you have Hoof hearted you might be able to find some people willing to trade.

They just got a brite tank today. Maybe this means they won't have to rush out as many beers to free up fermenter space.

So they had a great podcast where Kai talked about brite tanks and centrifuges being on their wish list. They have also added a lot of new equipment recently. I think there may be some bumps in the road as they learn how to use their new toys, but eventually it will all make for even better beer. I personally think brite tanks and letting some of their beers sit in them for a week or so before kegging and canning will go a long way in improving the final product. Then again, last week they released Mind the Hop with was incredible and the same week they had MoO which was awful. So maybe one was rushed, maybe one was on new equipment something was off.

They also just replied to me on twitter and said one fermenter was already converted into a brite tank and Laser Raptors, which releases today, went into this new brite tank. Looking forward to trying it!

I just can't believe they have space for this new equipment.

Well they can always use the former taproom space. :-)

Grabbed cans today. Hazy Orange Tears is delicious. It's a delightful play on Orangina. Spritzy, citrusy, juicy goodness. Loved how it was tart instead of sour. Wonderful beer.

Spoke to them about their new space. Sounds like the lease fell through and they are evaluating Plan B. Felt disappointed for them but it sounds like they have a contingency in place.

Listened to the podcast today. I'm a big fan of this brewery and their vision. And always appreciate their emphasis on taking care of customers. Can't wait to see what they have planned.

I tried all three beers tonight and thought they were all great. The Laser Raptors was IMO the best Laser Raptors batch yet & the milk stout was a surprise! I will be going back for more tomorrow if there are any cans left!

A waitress at Jimmy's Tavern in Herndon told me today that Aslin just signed a lease for the building next door to them.

I thought the whole point was to get out of Herndon?

If it's the building I am thinking of, then it is a great location for them. Herndon must have pushed real hard to keep them if this is true.

Also it's right on the W&OD, which would make me very happy.
