Anyone else really impressed with 5 Out Of 5? This beer is delicious. I enjoy Only Void, but 5/5 is better in my opinion.

Maybe they don't have as big of a boner for the word "milkshake" as the general population does.

I loved it, managed to get all the flavors as it warmed up. I'm going to sit on a few cans for a month or two and revisit it to see if the sweetness gets toned down a bit.

Hard to call this early. My guess is that may be a stretch....

cans are gone. They are doing 1L growler fills for $20. No 2L fills.

rust and decay ii is still on (no growlers) and is still fantastic!

Rust and Decay is one of the best beers that they have ever made. So much good going on in that beer. Would love to have that in a bottle.

Just drank my last double mango shake and it was amazing. Not even a touch of snowglobing at 8 months old

Trapper Pie tastes like a more robust Seasonal IPA from late last year.

Had a tap glass of Trapper.....not impressed at all, glad I missed the cans. First sip was good, second was ok, third was I've had enough. I even had a growler ready to fill and passed. Flavors didn't work for me.......oh and this a was not even close to a milkshake. Thank god I still have my Humanimal Stasis to enjoy. Actuality > hype.

After reading up on the fun stuff going on recently with Toppling Goliath I don't think I am going to complain about Tired Hands pricing anymore. I understand secondary values of their bottles on the gray market right now but $500 a bottle to have for on site consumption?? I guess I've been trying to start wrapping my mind around beer pricing being more akin to wine pricing and in that case the $20- $30 range for Tired Hands bottles seems very reasonable.

That isn't just Toppling Goliath. I went to Westbrook over the summer and all of their BA Mexican Cakes (which also say don't age) were ridiculously expensive. A Tequila barrel cake was like $375.00 for on-site only. I think they had a year aged Rum or some shit for like $100.00. They let the secondary market choose their pricing for on-site consumption of their more popular bottles. Really made me not a fan. I was also kind of impressed with how many there though gave no shit and were still buying them at three and four bottles a group.

Makes me wish I could go to Hill Farmstead more, they seem to keep pricing down to a somewhat reasonable level for onsite stuff that I'm sure the secondary market would pillage.

I was reading it was going to be double cherry vanilla? Can never trust the internet though!

Actually the label is the exact same as the extra vanilla, so you are probably right.

I might stop by Tired Hands on Friday and I could stop by on Sunday afternoon as well. Can anyone give any tips when visiting? Is there a release this weekend as well?
